Brighter Days, Inc. provides confidential and individualized psychotherapy services to its patients. The current treatment modalities include Individual and Family therapy.

Brighter Days, Inc. exists to bring restoration to the mind, body and spirit of the hurting and healing in the New Orleans area through empowerment, utilizing clinical interventions and spiritual support, along with community outreach. Brighter Days, Inc. was established in November of 2002. The original office site was located at 4948 Chef Mentur Highway in the New Orleans Federal Building in the Gentilly area of New Orleans, LA.
Brighter Days, Inc. provides confidential and individualized psychotherapy services to its patients. Individual therapy is counseling for a person who is having difficulty coping and/or functioning in life. Family therapy is counseling for a person accompanied with a spouse, child, or another significant family member.
This may include consultation to community programs and educational facilities, as well as clinical supervision for Master-level social workers. Yanada G. Essex is Board Approved Clinical Supervisor (through the Louisiana Board of Social Work Examiners); therefore, she is able to provide clinical supervision to Master-level social workers who are seeking the licensure of Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW).
Brighter Days, Inc. works primarily with adolescents and adults; however, the therapist maintains a small caseload of children, ages 6-11. Several companies have programs to assist employees with short-term supportive counseling services. Please consult with your Human Resources Department for more information.
