I've now eaten here twice and it was just great both times. The atmosphere is great: upscale neighborhood place. And the piano music is soft enough to talk over and really adds to the good vibes of the place.
The food is very good. Another reviewer said it was expensive, but I don't know where she's been eating recently. It's certainly more expensive than a chain restaurant, but otherwise well within what I've been paying elsewhere in Stuart.

Tommy and Carly have really made it nice here. The 100+ year wood bar top is superb. The ambiance and vibe here is excellent. The Cowboy Cut Rib-Eye is to die for and perfectly cooked. Since I was the early bird I had a chance to meet the owners and chat it up. Two very nice high quality people that made a very high quality restaurant happen.

It was my daughter's birthday today and, on a whim, she and I and her husband decided to try Griffin's. We were told to seat ourselves and we selected a table near the door but kind of separated from the rest of the dining room by a partial wall. The owner waited on us and explained she was by herself taking care of the front of the house so there might be a bit of a wait. We weren't in a hurry so that was fine. I'm so disappointed. After all the great reviews was excited to try a new place. First off the restaurant, ambiance, and service was great. So upset about the food. My steak was not a steak house steak. It was small, over cooked, and with out any seasoning. My husband's fish tasted like the salt shaker fell on it. His brussel sprouts weren't even edible. They did try to correct it with bringing a burger instead but my husband said the onions were so dry he couldn't even chew the burger. Yikes!! My boyfriend and I came here for my 22nd birthday. We were a little scared to try at first because upon walking in we were the only people in the dining room. This ended up being an amazing experience because we got to talk with the waitress who was the owner as well as the chef who is her husband. The food was amazing!! Don't eat their bread if you don't want to get addicted! I was so surprised by the serving size because they are on the more cheaper side, but you get a ton of food! We will definitely be back!!

I feel like this place is a hidden gem. Started with the most fantastic fish dip. I had the 6 oz filet mignon & shrimp scampi with the house made risotto. My mother had the wild mushroom stuffed chicken risotto. My father had the fish special. My friend had the seafood risotto. THIS FOOD IS PHENOMENAL! The Fish Dip is one of the best I've ever had. They really put their own touch on every food... instead of serving crackers like so many other places, they made their own magical vessel for the dip.
My wife's filet mignon was perfectly cooked and so tender. I couldn't believe how good it was.
And if you want a real treat, get the Cinnamon Toast Crunch for dessert. It's how I wish my momma would have made French Toast.

We are in Jensen spending the weekend from Miami. What a great experience we had at Griffins last night! The restaurant has an elegant feel with a cozy atmosphere. We love restaurants where we can actually hear ourselves speak! They had a piano player that added to the ambience. Our waitress with the owner of the restaurant. Terrible experience. I ordered the NY strip "very very rare." It arrived at the table (45 minutes later) cooked to nearly medium. The one bite that I did take contained a fairly sizeable bone fragment...in a strip steak... a typically boneless cut. It chipped my tooth. The staff offered me something else to eat, but given the time it took and the quality of the food to that point, I declined. Visited this place tonight for a special occasion with my hubs. The atmosphere and restaurant were very pleasing minke not your typical loud tiki Florida restaurant. A relaxing classy atmosphere. My husband had the "Tommy's meat loaf" and he can't say enough about it. Says it melted in his mouth and the best ever ! I had the blackened grouper and was not so impressed . I had diner there tonight on 7/24/21. I started my guest experience with a bit of a wait. I arrived at 6:31 pm and was served at 7:01pm. They only had 2 servers on duty. One them was the owner Carli. She was very nice and took time to talk to me even though she was swamped. But I didn't keep her long. My spouse brought me for my birthday and I couldn't be happier with her decision. Great menu selection. The server (one of the owners) was very proud of their establishment and confident in their ability to deliver high quality, tasty meals. She even suggested we make surf and turf combinations not listed on the menu.
We has their magnificent lobster bisque. The beer battered scallops were amazing. My wife loved her seafood risotto. I had sea bass and filet medallions (not a menu combination). Both were cooked perfectly and seasoned just right.

Okay, so like many others I have been looking for somewhere safe - with a nice mbiance - and most importantly, great food! Welp, my prayers were certainly answered at Griffin's. My friends and I had an amazing time and the drinks were excellent!!!!!! Everyone was kind and really knew what they were talking about.
I will definitely be back and may even turn this into our official Girls Night Out spot! Fine dining at its best.
