Often times a person contemplates going to therapy for a while before deciding to schedule an appointment. That is normal. If the therapist is a good fit, after a couple of sessions, and sometimes by the end of the first one, there is relief and hope that therapy will help. Talking out loud to a person who is removed from the rest of your life, and is trained to help you resolve issues, helps.

If you feel like you need to talk out some concerns but don't know where to start, that is ok. I will lead you through the process. Therapy is a confidential place to work through life's challenges. While some people who go to therapy have mental health issues they want help working through, others may be seeking to problem-solve stress-related issues that are a current struggle.
Please check with your insurance company prior to your first appointment to see if you have a co-payment, co-insurance or deductible. To do this, call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask a live person what your outpatient mental health or behavioral health co-pay, co-insurance or deductible is.
