PRICE is the bottom line. Professional service at a VERY good price.
Since moving from California (which has much more serious problems, lol) I've learned the hard truth - WHO you know in Southern Washington is critical. There isn't a 'bar.' Across all services you simply can't say "most of these businesses are at an acceptable level." Rather - a very low level, not much middle and a "high end."
H&R block screwed up my taxes, twice, so I went to Jackson Hewitt in Vancouver. They basically created a problem with depreciation that didn't exist and asked me to solve it. For all the time I spent

This is a new tax place to us as we had a BIG mishap at our old place. The staff here at Northwest Accounting & Tax Services Inc. were very friendly and very knowledgable. They even took the time to explain some tax stuff to me that I had questions about that didn't pertain to us. It was quick and painless. Everything was explained to us before our return was all done up and again explained to us when we went back to pay for our service and have our return sent in. It was also less expensive then our previous tax place and we feel like they did more for us as well. Thank you for being there and

I normally do my own taxes because I don't itemize and don't have any capital gains to report and don't have rental income etc. Last year because I had just moved to washington state and had too much to do I decided to hire this business to do my income tax. I called and spoke to tax preparer Suzanne M Clem. I told her that I am a retired person who receives social security and pension. I also told her that I cashed in a portion of my Roth IRA that I have had for many years which was according to IRS tax free.
