Most of us in we don't think about our air conditioning until the Augusta, GA heat is full upon us or it stops making cold air. Your vehicle's A/C unit is a complex system, but not for your certified maintenance and repair specialists at [atc] Auto Center. You turn on the A/C, and hear any noises other than the gentle click of the compressor turning on and off every so often.
The air filters in your car help your car "breathe" better. Every day, your car is forced to plow through unbelievable amounts of dirt, dust, pollen, bugs, and all-around nastiness as you drive around Augusta. The effects a dirty air filter has on your car aren't very noticeable since the changes are so gradual.
As if that wasn't enough, it is possible for your wheels to be out of alignment and you never even notice! That's why having your alignment checked regularly is a good idea. A vehicle wheel alignment is an elaborate process that adjust suspension so that all four wheels are parallel to each other and standing up straight so they roll perfectly flat on the road.
When you push on the brake pedal, it creates hydraulic pressure in the master cylinder. This pressure goes to the wheel cylinders and brake calipers and forces the shoes against the drums (drum brakes) and pads against the rotors (disc brakes). That causes friction that slows down the car. Worn down brakes makes stopping take longer and puts you and others at risk.

The staff at ATC took care of my car and also took care of me. Kind and honest people are far and wide also in between. The Ladies at AtC were so helpful and loving each and Everytime they called me to give updates on my car. The gentleman were so knowledgeable about my vehicle. I was driving around Augusta one day and noticed steam coming from my engine. Oh no. Slightly panicking, my mom advised me to drop my car by ATC since she has known the Weeks family for a long time. Upon arrival, my engine stated it was overheated as soon as I pull into a parking spot. It was almost creepy. Jen, service advisor, put me at ease and did an amazing job checking my car in…although she did mention it would take 2-3 days for them to look at it due to the busyness of the shop. My father had a transmission put into my car for me a few months ago from this place. By appointment only. Now I go in to get a checkup. First of all. No parking space. Luckily I squeezed in next to a car. Mind you I had driven 30 mins to get here from Georgia. Just so happens my dad lives in South Carolina. So I'm expecting a quick checkup. Guy tells me it's appointment only. I've never in my life been to a car repair that has no walk ins welcome. Guy asked if I can come back on a day he named. I said I have to check my schedule. Haven't been back yet. Would give more stars if I yad my transmission

Super personal and knowledgeable staff that was able to fit me in when I was in a rush. They fixed my problem and had me on my way. After their exam they provided me a print out of exactly what they looked at and what they thought of it. This gave me a great view into where the crucial parts of my car were at in their life cycle.

Very disappointed. I took a day off work to get my car serviced after booking an online appointment. I checked in with Cody and his response was ohhh you booked the appointment online, problems started there. Cody asked if I planed to leave the vehicle and I told him yes, when he informed me that their online system didn't schedule things properly and it might not happen (even though when you reserve online, you get a confirmation email hours later stating it is confirmed). Cody told me he would call me to give me an update and after 3 hours I had heard nothing so I called. Spoke with someone

This place is AMAZING!!! Would HIGHLY recommend this repair shop to everyone. We were in the market for another auto shop bc the one we were going to was just not convenient anymore and we found this place. Cody and Mary are amazing to deal with on the front side of things. Everyone working on the vehicles are great as well. We just moved here less then a year ago, but from now on we will have all our needs done here.

The Automotive Industry and Mechanic Shops are known for shady practices so it goes with out saying many people are skeptical about getting any work done on their vehicles. I took my 08 Tundra to ATC for a significant timing chain repair that a Toyota dealership overlooked, and I was taken care of every step of the way!
Just the nature of this repair was expensive, but Cody worked with me to determine exactly what I needed, and gave me plenty of options to fit my budget without trying to up-sell me on things that a typical shop would try to slide in.
The technician Dwight ensured the repair was corrected and I was 100% satisfied by taking his personal time to walk me back into the shop to educate

You might as well take your car to the dealership. Their prices are ridiculous. I took my car in to have a break job done, just to do the rear breaks and change a caliper was going to be $750. I called two other shops who both said they could do it for $500 or less, but then I had to pay ATC $49.00 to get my car back. So them trying to price gouge me cost me $49.00.
My wife went down there and when she sent me the estimate, every part they were going to install was a premium part and then on top of the estimate they had over $50 in shop fees and hazmat. Maybe the brakes had plutonium in them or

The reviews on Yelp are what made me take my baby to ATC and hopefully my review makes you do the same. I went in for an oil change and I left with just that! They didn't try to charge me for extra stuff or made me feel like I HAD to get other services. They did do an inspection along with the oil change and was very informative on the things they found. Everyone was so nice and they worked with me and my hectic schedule. I recommend them to everyone!

Stereotypical dishonest auto repair shop. Do not let the new location and friendly service fool you. ATC attempted to add charges for items not authorized and listed faults on a test drive diagnostic that did not need repair. When confronted about the additional charges, I got the deer in the headlights stare from the receptionist; this place knows what they are doing to make money. They did eventually remove the charges.

I found this place on Yelp and decided to get an oil change because Jiffy Lube was extremely busy. Great decision to stop in because the personnel was so inviting and offered complimentary waters, coffee and snacks. Very clean lobby in which you can switch the channel to the television.
While waiting in the lobby I also recieved a text message outlying any other problems my vehicle had including photos, which was cool! They didn't hound me to get $1000's of dollars worth of things fixed, just

Amazing Customer Service! It so nice to know that (as a female) you are being told the truth about what actually needs to be repaired on your vehicle and know that you are not being taken advantage of! The genuine concern for their clients is what sets ATC apart from the rest, not to mention the fabulous repair job! I would not go anywhere else for any automotive service - ever!
