Richard A. Short is proud to welcome patients to a practice where real caring and compassion combine with education and experience to provide the best in dental care. His philosophy of service to the patient along with the support of a hand--picked, knowledgeable team creates excellence in both patient care and clinical results.
Katherine is our registered dental hygienist. She provides the very best plan for maintaining your teeth and oral health for the rest of your life. Katherine has over 10 years of experience in the dental field. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Salem State University in 2011. She continued her studies at Middlesex Community College receiving her associates in Dental Hygiene in 2014.
Complimentary parking is available behind our building for your convenience. We also have two designated parking spaces just for our patients. The parking space numbers are numbers 23 and 30, on the left side of the building. In addition to our private spaces, two-hour parking is also available all along the building.
Dr. Shila Sharifi is a graduate of Boston University. After finishing high school in 2000, Dr. Sharifi moved to America with her family in pursuit of a higher education. She attended the University of Massachusetts Boston and graduated in 2004 with a double degree in art and biology. Her passion for painting and sculpture had a huge influence in her decision to become a dentist and train at Boston University School of Dental Medicine.
The Classic Smile has loyal patients from all over the county and beyond, from Chelsea, Revere, Belmont, Everett, North Reading. We believe that a beautiful smile is the door that unlocks a person's potential to relate positively to his or her surroundings. Classic Smile is the best dentist around. The staff are so professional, facility is clean, enhanced COVID protocols and friendly staff that use the state of the art technology that makes the overall experience wonderful.They know their business and they are about patient care which I appreciate it.

I always praised classic smiles while my, now 86 year old mom was an active patient & in fact posted a 5 star review at the time over a year ago. However, within a couple months after her last denture adjustments were completed she refused to wear her new dentures citing her gums were continuously sore in the rear of her mouth/that the dentures protruded too much in the rear. This is so unfortunate because perhaps by having to resort to her old dentures thereafter & up until the present, her lose of bone density has only worsened. I don't know if classic smiles would care to respond to this updated

I have been a patient for several years. Good service by the dental techs when your in the chair. Went in for my annual check up, X-rays, cleaning all were great. Was told that I would have to come back in 4 weeks as the dentist was not in and I needed an exam. I would have liked to have known that prior as I would have booked a day when I could get terminal care in one visit. Note one to to leave a review, but but the website does not have an email POC for the office manager.

I was referred to this dentistry by my dad, John Reddy. I reached out with an inquiry through the website and got a text message from Janelle later that evening about scheduling an appointment and she patiently answered my questions about insurance which was super helpful. She was also able to send the patient forms that needed to be filled out via email which was really convenient, as opposed to filing out the forms in person (and making the appointment longer).
Upon arriving, I was greeted warmly by Liliete and shortly Janelle. The music in the lobby was cheerful and not too loud which I appreciated

I have been a patient at the Classic Smile for many years. I will not even entertain the idea of going anywhere else. From the ladies at the front desk who greet you to all the professionals who do your dental work, there are no better people to deal with. I love them!! Top of their profession and they use the top of the line equipment. Where are you going to find a Class A operation from front to back??. At The Classic Smile. If you aren't a patient...you should be!!!!

Going to get my teeth cleaned is more like a spa treatment. The staff is warm friendly and very professional. They also have the best music ever. My teeth have never been in such good condition my mouth feels great. Thanks Katherine! And at the end there's a warm eucalyptus towel and a tooth goodie bag. Who could ask for more.

I had such a great experience today at the Classic Smile. The office is up to date with all of the necessary equipment for COVID protocols which made me feel safe being there. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Jannell was so sweet and went out of her way to help me set up an Uber to take home and even called me after to make sure I made it home okay. Dr. Gonzalez and Colleen were a great team and made my visit very comfortable. I highly recommend this office!
