He is a 37-year Attending at the North Shore University Hospital (NSUH) Dental Clinic in Manhasset, New York. He supervises dental residents in the Special Care Dentistry clinic.

Marshall Golan, Howard Golan, and Jeffrey Etess incorporate laser dentistry extensively into treatment at our Williston Park, NY, practice. If I could give a minus star I would! The senior Dr. Golan told me I needed three of my front teeth removed. That was over 20 years ago and those teeth are still fine according to every dentist I've seen since then. He also over-dosed me with Nitrous Oxide and I woke up on the floor being resuscitated.

My husband was referred by a friend to this practice over 7 years ago because his dentist was unavailable . At his appointment he was told he has Gum disease, which he doesn’t, as well as cavities, which up to that point had never had before. Those “cavities” were then filled, however later determined unnecessary by two other dentists. The big red flag was that they were pushing for treatment for gum disease (that he didn’t have) which would have cost him out of pocket thousands and thousands of dollars. He walked away from that feeling that something was not right; like he was being scammed

All they care about is ripping You off. I would never come back to them as I would get countless of useless procedures. You're supposed to trust your specialist, but I woULd never trust these guys after what I've been through. My family can also confirm that not leaving them sooner was a mistake. Found a much better place that is more honest and better quality.

Dealing with a lot of current issues as an adult because he did such a crap job working on my teeth as a child/teen. He drilled my back tooth so deep that the pulp of the tooth is exposed and now I have terrible TMJ headaches. There are hundreds of times throughout the years that my family's fillings/caps/ crowns etc. have fallen out or needed to be replaced because of the cheap materials he used and/or the sloppy work. He "claims" there is a lot of work needed just to receive money.. especially if you have good insurance. Everything he worked on needed to be redone by other dentists

Horrible experience. 600$ cavity filled on what should have been a root canal. Other tooth he worked on and left capless needs an extraction and and an implant. Need a root canal done on the tooth he filled. He also drilled my gums multiple times. I highly suggest you save your money and go somewhere else.

Sometimes things happen for a reason. While out having lunch, one of my veneers came off. What to do??? So, after driving by this office for quite some time, it was time to give them a try. What a find! Dr Howard took me immediately and was able to beautiful reattach the veneer. Dr Marshall has been working on my very neglected teeth with patience, kindness and a pain free approach! And please let me add Dr Jeffrey Etess who did two root canals that were virtually painless, holistic and perfect! Things happen for a reason. I found the best dental practice around. Outstanding!!!

I can't even begin to express how grateful I was to meet Dr. Jeffrey Etess D.M.D., N.M.D., I.B.D.M.,and have his expertise in resolving a very complicated dental matter I had with a front bottom tooth. I wanted so much to save this tooth that had a lot of work done on it years ago and saving my tooth is exactly what Dr. Etess was able to do because of his expert knowledge, years of experience, creativity and great talent. It was truly a miracle and I felt he had such a knowingness and knew exactly what would be best for my case. I had so much faith in him and really listened to his expert

I highly recommend Golan Family Dentistry. I have been going to Dr. Marshall for close to 40 years and would never go anywhere else. He does great work as does Dr. Howie and Dr. Jeff. Two weeks ago I had surgery and preparation for an implant. I had no discomfort or swelling afterward. Their hygienists, assistants and office staff are superb also. Kudos to everyone there!!!

I was recommended by a friend to Golan Family Dentistry. Upon researching the practice further, I found that Dr. Jeffrey Etess was arrested and convicted for selling 150,000 Vicodin pills, among other drugs. If Dr. Golan chooses to work with a convicted felon, I think that tells me all I need to know about this practice. I’d recommend a pass on this one.

Have been treated here over the past two and a half years and am very satisfied with their level of expertise. Endodontist, periodontal, orthodontist, they supply who you need to meet your dental needs. I just had an implant done today and feel fine two hours later. The staff are friendly and helpful, there is parking around the building or you can park for an hour on the street, Hillside Ave, during a quick visit.

Though the Golans may be qualified, their primary concern is making money, and covering for their endodontist a convicted felon for practicing dentistry under the influence of drugs. I wrote this concerning concerning Dr. Jeffrey Marc Etess, though I did not write this specifically for this review, it speaks for itself: An online search will… reveal that Dr. Jeffrey Marc Etess had been arrested for taking and distributing drugs while practicing dentistry, Dr. Etess claimed that he was a drug addict and a victim of addiction and was suspended from practice and then only allowed to practice
