These include public infrastructure, transportation, hydraulics and hydrology, land planning, land development, land surveying, construction phase services, and landscape architecture.
Edminster, Hinshaw, Russ and Associates, Inc. (EHRA) has been serving the Houston area for more than 80 years. Edminster Engineering began as a small engineering firm founded in 1936 by Truman C. Edminster, Sr. Subsequent founding partners Conrad Hinshaw and R. Terry Russ joined the firm in 1969 and 1978 respectively to establish the current company namesake.
What distinguishes EHRA is our honest, hard-working people who understand the importance of integrity and the willingness to always make things right. That's why many of EHRA's employees have worked with the company for years, and why several of them have fathers who worked for and retired from EHRA.

EHRA provides Landscape Architecture services including: parks, trails and bikeway master planning, recreational facilities design, monument signage and native/adaptive species plant selections. We are at the forefront of Low Impact Development landscape planning, integrating water tolerant plant species with bioswales.

They specialise in land and subdivision design ONLY. This is a strictly civil engineering firm with a very narrow expertise. Any other service outside their land design expertise e.g. traffic, dams, bridges, water, wastewater, concrete, metal frames, electrical, mechanical, fire protection and general piping, simple building HVAC, pumps, blowers, etc. requires an engineering design contractor that would charge them $300/hr, which result in higher project costs. EHRA, this is the truth about you and about your unexperienced vps, sr vps, etc. Don't oversell your services! Don't try to remove this

This engineering firm is above working for people. I guess they have too much work to bid projects? What a disrespectful group of people. I am surprised someone can go to school, get an engineering degree, and be disrespectful about a potential client calling to get a quote on a job. They finally said we just don't want to work. 5 minutes of my time will maybe make one of the principles of this company have a talk with their staff about how important clients are.

I Love this place because good trustworthy people are hard to find,this doesn't have any thing to do with Engineering, but I just want to thank Randy and the staff finding my dogs Buster and Ceasar ,that wondered off monday 5-9 -16 I posted online two Lost Dogs and these good folks called me and said I have your dogs! I applaud EHRA for utilizing the available technology, namely Civcast, to bid this job electronically. Eventually, I think most engineers will follow your lead because the cost savings are too great to ignore. Think of 6 vehicles that did not burn gas to get to this bid opening and the time saved by the 6 people who didn’t drive to the opening.
