Malachite Technologies and Sairem will be sharing a booth (#729) at the Society of Vacuum Coater's Techcon 2019. Come visit with our experts to discuss your MW plasma processing applications. Malachite has been awarded a contract from the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) in West Virginia to design and fabricate a high temperature (1000C) and high pressure (500psi) microwave reactor system.

This system will be used for researching new catalysts used in chemical synthesis applications. We are excited to announce that Malachite has been awarded an SBIR Phase II contract from the National Science Foundation. This two year, $750,000 program will continue the development of our scalable linear ion beam source technology for deposition, etch and surface modification over large areas.
Services
Malachite Technologies delivers fully-integrated equipment and process solutions that help customers bring material science breakthroughs from the lab to the factory floor. Primarily serving the semiconductor, solar, and optical industries, we help organizations from small university labs, to Fortune 500 companies accelerate their internal engineering and manufacturing programs.
Mr. Weiss has held positions as CTO at two publicly traded high technology companies, Intevac, Inc. and DayStar, Inc. He has a proven record of technology assessment, integration, development, and marketing skills in both hardware and process leading to business opportunities and growth. He is experienced in moving products and process from R&D to production and building a team to make it happen.
Malachite Technologies is Sairem's North American applications lab and sales support team. Our facility is setup with both magnetron and solid-state based generators and is available for demonstration, training, and application support. For more information about these products or to schedule a visit to the lab, please contact us.
We have begun to bring up one of our test chambers to use as a vertical R&D coating platform. This chamber was previously used as a load station for a much larger deposition chamber, but will now be modified to accommodate various deposition and plasma processing sources. A system like this is critical for us to demonstrate the feasibility of a process while keeping costs to a minimum.
As the facilities and build-out of our high-bay laboratory space continues, we're bringing online high priority systems so that our current projects are not delayed. We have localized facility hook-ups for now as we plan and organize the full layout of the electrical, water, and compressed air connections.
