Our poor miniature dachshund, Sarge, had an allergic reaction to his rabies shot that he had received earlier that day. We thought his airways were closing up so we called Petroglyph Animal Hospital immediately. The receptionist told us to bring him in right away. As soon as we got in they took him into their care immediately. The staff was caring and responsive in what we thought was a medical emergency for our pup and they assured us that everything would be ok. Thank you Petroglyph Animal Hospital for taking care of Sarge when no one else was available!

Yesterday I noticed a deep 6 inch gash on my 6 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback’s side. My vet was too busy to see her and subsequent phone calls revealed that all offices I called were in the same situation. Petroglyph had more than they could handle as well but they saw her anyway.
They were running way behind schedule with more animals needing treatment than time and space could accommodate. Nonetheless they worked my precious girl onto their full schedule and took care of her. The entire staff was compassionate, understanding and professional. Dr. Espinosa did a remarkable job of mending Layla’s

They were able to see us when nobody else was. The wait time was long, but that's to be expected when it's an emergency walk in. Plus they did warn us it would be. They are very kind and helpful. They even called to check up on her.

Called first thing in the morning for an urgent care appointment and was told to come in at 3:20pm. Took off work and loaded up my angry cat, to be told they had no record of me and were booked and wouldn't see me. I get it it's covid everyone's busy whatever. But the lady tried to blame it on me and implied that it was somehow my fault or that I'd made it up. Despite me showing her my phone log. Don't need that in my life, won't be using them again or recommending them to anyone.

Rude, rude, rude is all I have to say. I have been a long time client for multiple pets, but in the last year they have become so rude that I changed clinics. This attitude must come from the top down because literally everyone I have dealt with has been rude and uncooperative. For example, I have made multiple requests for transfer of medical records and this simple act is impossible for them. I am now having trouble getting shot records. Their standard answers seem to be they will do it right away and it doesn't happen, or they will get to it as soon as they can and it doesn't

Terrible experience! I called to my puppy in because he had gotten sick and wasn’t eating so I figured I could call a place that takes “emergencies” and the man on the phone was very rude and said they couldn’t get my dog in till next week or the week after. After being very frantic on the phone and expressing my feelings of how I felt my dog was dying. All the man could ask me is if my dog was fully vaccinated.
Luckily I got my puppy in with someone who doesn’t even consider themselves an emergency vet. Just to find out my puppy has parvo and had I waited to get him in with these people

The staff and doctors are exceptional and compassionate. We brought our little dog in for an emergency evaluation, and unfortunately the diagnosis was terminal. The staff and doctors were exceptional and I would highly recommend this business.

They were able to see us for an emergency situation when no one else was. They were kind, compassionate, and extremely helpful. They offered multiple options and supported our choices. Petroglyph helped us through a difficult time in saying goodbye to our furry family member. So grateful for them.

My baby is really sick, so I thought I could take him to this Animal Hospital. I was so wrong.
After trying to call promptly at 7:15 AM, I received a message that they were still closed. I attempted again at 7:20 AM and got the same 2 minute message about them being closed. So, I decided they must’ve not turned on their switchboard.
I drove down, areived at 7:30 AM, and asked if we could be seen either as an emergency or as a walk in. The receptionist told me the walk ins aren’t open until 10 AM. When I asked if we needed to leave and come back, she said all their walk-ins were full. Their

Great overall experience. Dog started to vomit and have diarrhea on a Saturday night, and due to Covid restrictions extremely long wait times. Very happy that they were open on Sunday and were able to accommodate us as an urgent care visit. Very professional and caring.

They were able to determine the root cause and our dog is back to normal after spending the night at the hospital. They get my highest recommendation.

Tried to get my dog in to be seen multiple days in a row. They said call in the morning because they are first come first serve. So I tried calling in the AM right when they opened multiple times and the phones said they were closed. Then I brought my pet in 20 minutes after they opened and said that they had already booked all the appointments for the day. I wouldn’t waste your time trying to get your get an appointment here. Poor client management and not very friendly. Better off trying another clinic that is more accommodating and welcoming.

Dr. Power was amazing with our dog. He was having stomach trouble and although it was a long wait they got him in and treated him. The power had gone out which was an unforeseeable delay but the staff was incredible at communicating what was going on and even took additional time from their day to finish assessing our pooch when the power returned. Great and friendly staff, would recommend

This review is for the care of a pet rabbit.

I have a 6 month old pet rabbit who was due for a neutering. After calling around the Abq area, PAH gave me the most affordable estimates I could find, a vet specialist with rabbit experience and schedule availability, and very friendly and helpful customer service.

So far, I've been there twice -- for the initial visit and neutering. Due to COVID protocols, much of my experience is from outside the hospital. After parking, I checked in either by calling or texting. A staff member came outside and met me with paperwork, discussed the visits,

This vet hospital is very busy . I was sent here by petsmart because petsmart was so backed up . My small dog needed teeth removed and a cleaning as part of the deal . At first I was Leary of cleaning due to dog being young . It made sense after I looked at it from infection standpoint. It was costly but worth it . The vet was great and there was a English vet who I have decided will see my dog from now on . Very knowledgeable staff and treated my baby so well . I have seen people on here complain of cost. Sorry no offense . Vets cost money period . If you have a animal you need to factor in cost

The staff is so rude the appointments are for show. I made an appointment three months ago for 12:20pm. I'm an understanding individual and I understand that because of COVID things have changed. I arrive for my appointment and call to check in I didn't get a "Hey we are running behind so please be patient", the person I talked to said "ok got you checked in, we will call you when we're ready". I waited for 45 minutes in the heat with my two dogs until I (emphasize on the I) called them to ask how much longer the wait would be. The rudest women wanna be thug answered

If your dog gets bit by a rattlesnake DO NOT take them to this pet hospital. They have zero experience with snake bites. While I was out of town my parents were dog sitting my German Shepard mix and he got bit on his face, they rushed him to this hospital within one hour. The safe zone to administer anti venom is 2 to 4 hours. The vet on call chose not to give my dog anti venom, because his blood was clotting normal. However, He became so swollen it was hard for him to breathe and couldn't eat. He stayed in the hospital for 3 days. Once he came home he remained swollen for a week and barely

Visit 12/24/18. So so grateful for their walk in access. Just got home from a trip out of town and returned to a sick fur baby. I took him right in at 9 and we were worked in to their busy holiday schedule. I was prepared for a several hour wait knowing we weren't the most critical, but it certainly wasn't that terrible and we were back home again by 11. That includes exam and lab work, a shot etc. Techs and vet (Dr Gena Esposito) were fabulous and took their time hearing my concerns and doing exam. I didn't feel rushed nor did I feel their diagnosis was rushed. Dr Esposito was very

This is not the fanciest of veterinary hospitals but what's missing in glitz is well overshadowed by the steadfast care and love for your pet. When you are seen, you know your pet is the center of their attention. From the techs to the customer service reps at the cash office and all of the doctors, this place rocks! I've been through several veterinarian experiences locally since my arrival in 2003. This place is the best.
