I am so beyond happy that I found beach counseling center. Everyone has gone above and beyond to help and give advice and love and compassion while I was going through a mental health crisis. Abigail Phillips listens to every single thing you say, she listens with compassion and does what she can to actually make you feel good. Haley Cooke is the sweetest, most loving counselor. The moments after I speak to her, the weight of the world lifts off my shoulders. The office manger, I believe her name is Lou? , is just beyond amazing. Went out of her way to personally make sure I was okay and I got

Tried to set up new patient appointment for my daughter. When receptionist answered and asked why I was calling, I stated why, and before I could explain any of the extenuating circumstances and attempt to get my daughter on the phone, I was hung up on after being told she needed to call not me. When my daughter called to try and set it up herself, she was immediately asked for insurance info and hung up on when she couldn't produce it fast enough. If this is how the front desk staff acts at this practice, I definitely don't want to know what their providers are like.

My adult (18 years old), autistic granddaughter just tried to make an appointment with Beach Counseling. She has social interaction issues and is easily intimidated and automatically assumes she's done something wrong. When she called for an appointment the receptionist asked for her insurance info and because it took her a minute to pull the insurance info off her phone, the woman hung up on her. My son/her father tried to call for an appointment for my granddaughter earlier this morning and was told very curtly that my granddaughter needed to call for the appointment and the receptionist hung

Did she just say that? Did a child with a chip on their shoulder write this? Unbelievable!

Hi Courtney, unfortunately in mental health there are at times we have emergencies that are a matter of life and death, this would have been better to have talked to the owner, but we understand that people get angry and only want to post on the internet especially in mental health. I would hope my provider would step out if the same thing happened.
