Jim Kehoe, owner of JMK Construction, has been building custom homes and additions for over thirty years in the Warrenton and Northern Virginia area (to include areas as far south as Fredericksburg, Stafford and into Rappahannock, Fairfax and areas in between). We can generate architectural drawings, take care of zoning requirements, health department and all phases of the permitting process to conclude with your occupancy permit.
The only thing the busy home owner is required to do for their custom home or addition is to pick out furnishings, appliances and paint colors. When you contract with JMK Construction for your custom home or addition, you will not pay any up- front money. All work is done on a draw basis. We only ask for draws in phases, once the work is in place and complete to your satisfaction.

This innovative sheathing does not require housewrap on walls or felt on the roof. The only thing to be done is use the proprietary seam tape. This product is resistant to the elements while framing, thus eliminating damage due to swelling. Did you know that in addition to granite, quartz and other natural stones, countertops are also made of bamboo, paper, solid glass, recycled glass and scrap metal?

This company was unbelievable, from the owner, through to the crew that did the work. The crew was professional, they took the time to explain everything they were doing. They cleaned up the work area, and if wasn’t for the difference in the coloring of the concrete, you would not have known anyone was even there.
We would highly recommend JMK.

We had JMK come back to reinstall the railings for the front porch area where they had repaired the concrete. The completed the work in less than a day. Did an excellent job again, we are totally satisfied!

Totally professional and great crew! Our patio is absolutely beautiful and we love everything about it - design, color and size. John, the owner, was very patient with all our questions and concerns, and he always responded in a very reasonable time frame. The process didn't end after the pour - the owner wanted to make sure we were happy with everything and asked if we were pleased with his crew. I can't say enough for his professionalism in every step of the way!

I had a new driveway and patio and stairs and even walkways torn out and replaced by JMK this time last year. EXCELLENT!!! They did an amazing job and it was completed in a week.
This year I had a new bathroom put in and work done to the kitchen. I need to tell you, the workmanship was incredible. The thought and planning that went into this total remodel was beyond anything I thought of doing. The end result was perfection in every sense of the word.

Would highly recommend this team! We needed a raised pad put in to match the existing concrete slab and John and his team worked their magic! They were responsive, showed up in an extremely timely fashion, and the quality of work is very high. Will work with them for future jobs!

We contracted JMK to tear-up our old driveway (10+ year-old black top) and pour us a concrete replacement. It turned out incredible. The team was punctual, kind, and informative.
