I was raised in Mexico and we just moved back from Florida where there is no Mexican food. Perhaps it was that, but I thought the food was delicious. I ordered the chile rellenos which were served with rice and beans. The beans tasted like my mom's. My family and I have eaten at Los Volcanes numerous times.
The food is always delicious, I consider it the best authentic, mexican food around!. The staff is always friendly, usually the owner either seats us or comes to the table to make sure everything is to our liking. I live in Denver and can't wait to visit my family in Parker so I can eat at Los Volcanes.

The first time we visited it was pretty dang good. Few months later we come back and it's one of the worst restaurants we have ever been to. The server was slow and extremely forgetful about almost everything. The food was not good, the"salsa" was just straight up spicy tomato paste, and the carnitas were bland. We got 1 refill of water after asking twice and it came out of an unwashed pitcher that had sprite in it. 2 of us at the table ended up getting pretty sick from the food and we had 2 completely different plates. I ended up blowing chunks about 5 times and had the runs for a good 20 minutes

Every time I order, it gets worse. How?? I get the same exact thing, chiliquiles (spelling)
This time I get the overcooked steak, watered down enchilada sauce with literally no spice. Come on guys, the first time was amazing. I haven't experienced that since... And it's only been 2 months! 5 orders. Gets worse every time. I actually want a refund this time it's so bad.
