Activated and paid for policy in May 2021
Last week I received a partial refund and come to find out they cancelled my policy because I didn't return a letter of occupancy which I never received....called them up and was getting charged 474.00 when refund was only 329.00
The rep was a bit rude at AEGIS and company may confirm that by listening to the recorded call.
Finally got the issue resolved and charged the 329.00 and when I asked where the charge of 474 was coming from I couldn't get a straight answer.
We are all good now and reinstated.
Maybe email communication should be implemented

Claim denied on fridge. An electrical storm knocked our power out, a day or so later we noticed our fridge was no longer cooling. After the repairman said this was a DIRECT result of the storm, Aegis decided to go ahead and deny the claim, stating that this peril was not insured against. Even though it directly states in the denial letter, Section 1 - perils insured against. 1. Fire and lightning. 2 Sudden and accidental damage from smoke.
Crooked company, i would not advise anyone to go through this mess unless you just like throwing money away.
