They are trying to profit on our dying dog. I don't know if a more disgusting thing for a vet clinic to do. We just got a terminal diagnosis from the emergency vet, which their own vet confirmed after review the files and X-rays. That was after I had to call back twice to talk to vet after they told me they'd call. During the call they said they help us manage his pain and discomfort until the very end. Instead we went to get a refill this morning and instead of providing care and comfort through the weekend they wanted a new appointment. Nothing about actual doubts or concerns on his

Dr. Shows has taken such good care of our pets! He is always willing to listen to my ideas and give several options for care. He doesn't push anything that isn't completely necessary. I've seen several other doctors as well when Dr. Shows isn't available and they have all been very kind. The front office staff is always amazing as well!

I went for X-rays and they didn’t do it. they advised against it and said they would check back with me and never did also they didn’t listen when I told them about my pets behavior. I’m with my pet all the time they meet my pet once and even disregarded my primary vets diagnosis. I feel like they just wanted to make $ and literary did nothing.

I took my small dog (the love of my life) in for help with a cough he had developed. His teeth were rotten & he hadn't had vaccinations for several years---my fault due to my disabilities and low income, plus he never left our yard to be in contact with other dogs other than his mother who is 14.9 years old.
Charlie was 12.3 years old and had never been sick a day in his life. He was full of energy and never missed a toss of the ball. The Vet Tech, Angel was caring because I was a basket case and did everything she could to keep me calm and the cost of the visit down. Dr. Shows was also very nice

I will recommend this place again and again. My puppy broke his leg Friday and dr.z got him in for surgery Monday. I've never gone to a vet and received this level of customer service. And until Saturday I didn't even know it existed. I'll be switching from our current provider to this clinic for both of my pets. They probably do it all! Thank y'all soooooo much

My fur babies when I was a child would come to this vet. I was already devastated knowing we would be bringing my "Nike" here and never coming home with me again. That was the last time going into that vet. Week after 30 years later and I now have my everything Odin (pug), a year ago he needs he needed stenotic nares surgery. I had a hard time finding a vet who regularly performs this surgery, I was terrified. So I go back to Kingsland Blvd Animal Clinic after 30+ years 95% sure my Odin wasn't getting surgery here, he was coming home with me. After talking with the dr who would be

This vet will try to sneak in as many extra charges as they can on you. I took my 3 dogs for vaccines only and they literally gave my dogs shots I didn't consent to. I was completely appalled when my bill was over a thousand dollars. After saying that I only came for vaccines I had to fight to get only what I came in to it for. They have also done this exact same thing to my Dad when he took his dog here. DONT TRUST THIS VET THEY ARE CROOKS

Such a disappointment with a simple nail trim.
What I'm about to say is probably way too long and definitely not easy as I have brought in my range of pups since 1998.
I scheduled a regular nail trim for my 2 year old pup with Kingsland Animal Clinic. I asked the price over the phone and I was told $19. Last year at this same time, I could have sworn the cost was around 10 bucks. I was told it was $9 for the trim and $10 for the technician. I didn't pester further as to why there was a cost for a technician when you would think a technician comes with the cost of a trim. But I didn

Waited 30 mins for my appointment then I finally canceled it and left. At 20 minutes I asked Kimberly, the front desk person, how much longer because my appointment was almost 30 mins ago. She said they, I assume meaning the doctors, just got my chart and should see my boys "shortly". Five minutes passed and I went up to her again to ask about the wait. While I was speaking with her another front desk person gave her my chart that she already said was with the doctors. I canceled my appointment and asked for all my records to be sent to me. I don't appreciate waiting 30 mins for

I'm extremely upset with my recent care of my dogs. I had charges applied without my consent to the tune of nearly $800. We thought we were going in for vaccines and ended up with a $800 charge. With any medical/veterinarian clinic there should be transparency and explanation of procedures needed. I have attempted to call THREE times to speak to an office manager about this. This place is very UNPROFESSIONAL and purposely looking for ways to upcharge you. AVOID THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT A HUGE BILL!!!

Dr. Shows and his tech staff were absolutely amazing with our oversized dog. They were always willing to work with us to ensure he got the best care possible even when he was being a difficult patient. Cannot say enough good things. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is that sometimes it's difficult to get through to someone at the front desk. Other than that zero complaints.

The doctors here are all so kind and caring. It seems that some reviews have been posted lately regarding a sad medical experience. I think people need to remember that medicine is not predictable and sometimes people even die under anesthesia. After my own grandfather passed away due to anesthetic complications, I looked more into this and understand that it DOES happen. It is rare and tragic, but to act like these caring doctors are just out to murder animals is unacceptable. Thank you to Kingsland Blvd Animal Clinic for their ongoing love and care of animals during the pandemic. I hope you all

My 8 month old puppy was diagnosed with Parvo last week. She was a stray only a few days before taking her in to see a vet. I was completely heart broken and had no idea what to do. The vet told me exactly what needed to be done and what our plan of action was. Everyone one there was so supportive and told me step by step what needed to happen next and how much it was going to cost. She was in their care for about 3 days receiving treatment/fluids to help fight the virus.
They called me 3 times a day to tell me how she was and what they were doing as far as treatment and what to expect.

Recently adopted a new furry friend and decided to take her to see the vet at the Kingsland Blvd Animal Clinic for a physical.
I was sent an email that morning at 9am, confirming a 1pm appointment that I made on their website. The appointment request form was pretty easy to navigate and complete. Due to the holidays, it took a couple of days to get a response, but nothing out of the normal.
The confirmation email stated that we should arrive fifteen minutes early to complete the paperwork. Being the overachievers that we were, we arrived 25 mins early, signed in at the front desk, and collected

My vet is awesome. He also a one doc practice and can be hard to get into.
Thankfully, KBAC takes "fit-ins" (for a $20 fee) and also had some available same-day appointments when we called on a Saturday morning. Our newly adopted kitten had developed sneezy-sniffles that rapidly evolved into full blown leaky eyes, snot bubbles and wheezing. Our Saturday visit was as pleasant as a vet visit could be. We were taken into a room almost immediately, and the vet and tech treated our kitten quickly and thoroughly. She got a breathing treatment, fluids, nasal drops, and an oral antibiotic all
