I took my dog to them for a lesion on the back of her neck. They apparently didn't do the proper test to determine what the lesion was (it ended up being ringworm, easy to treat with medication), treated it with incorrect medication for a few weeks and it got worse. Took her back to have it rechecked, and the doctor advised she needed surgery to remove it. I asked them twice before the surgery if they didn't want to test it again, and was assured she needed surgery to remove it. So I let them perform the surgery.

We moved here from another state last year and we were able to get both our dogs in right away for vaccinations. Our boxer also needed a small lump removed from her eyelid and a spay surgery and it was much cheaper than what we had been previously quoted at our former vet. Weve always been able to get our animals seen quickly which is really nice.

Staff was nice. Even with an appointment I was waiting 30 minutes to have my kitten seen, and the very spent maybe 3 minutes in the room with me.
They do have nice staff! I'll be going back to get vaccinations and my kitten spayed, so I'll update my review after those visits if things are more organized.

Dr. Hicks and Dr. Chea are awesome. We have been bringing our fur babies here for about 15 years. We've had to say goodbye to 2 of them over that time and the doctors and staff were very considerate and caring. I recommend Old Town to anyone that needs GOOD, THOROUGH and ATTENTIVE care for their animal. The new app is pretty cool too!

I love this place. My fur babies are taken care of very well. The staff is very caring and attentive to all my 10 dogs and 4 cats. Yes, that is a lot but living out in the country you start accumulating these precious animals that are left to tend to themselves. Old Town is always so helpful when I bring one in. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Incompetent and inconsistent. I called as a new pt to get my dog in to have xrays done due to her not walking on her leg. I was told that the xray was $160 and if there was anything suspicious, they would send the xray to a radiologist to be read for another $150. I told her that If the dr seen anything suspicious I would just get a copy of the xray and have my regular vet read it. My reg vet is 1.5 hours away. Georgia, very nice, made my appt for 415 knowing all the situation and circumstances. Well my son brings my dog in to the appt, the tech in the back tells him they only do xrays in

Want the best for your pets? I truly believe in and trust old town animal hospital with my baby and all of his needs. Since we got him when he was a puppy, we were going pretty frequently for vaccinations and each time the staff was friendly and took care of him so so well.
The real kicker is that unfortunately he was diagnosed with mites at 4 months old so he would need to go in every week for 6-8 weeks and get a dip treatment. We have been using Old Town Animal Hospital since moving to the area 5 years ago. Our animals are our children so their care is very important to us. Our dog had surgery there and was treated with great care. Our cats have made visits there but we were not charged because the vet either did nothing more than calm a nervous pet momma's mind or had to refer us for a specialist. They have treated my dog for skin conditions, joint pain, and grooming. We have always found the staff to be responsive and extremely compassionate. The Dr's we have seen have been forthcoming and honest about charges

The staff was super friendly. It was our first time here so we didn't really know what to expect. We brought our puppy's shot records for them to add to the system. Hubby called ahead for the appointment. We just need to get a rabies shot which they said was $21. The wait was a little long. I think we waited about 15-20 minutes before we even got a room. Once in the room everything happened really quick. They checked her abnormal masses on the body, listened to her heart and took her rectal temperature before administering the shot.
