I had gone to Pep Boys to get my headlight repaired. After keeping my car for 3 days trying to "diagnose" an electrical problem, Pep Boys informed me that I needed my entire headlight assembly replaced and it would take a week to get the part in and cost $2,700.00. I declined and took my car to Downtown Car Care for a 2nd opinion. After an hour or so, DCC determined that all I needed was a FUSE replaced and a new bulb. DCC saved me $2,500+ and they'll be my first "go-to" place for future repairs. They are extremely professional and friendly and I was very impressed with how clean their shop is

There aren't many mechanics around who can work on a 60+ year old car, let alone who will be totally honest with you about what they can do and do the work for a fair price. Went on a road trip vacation to Florida from Texas. Felt the car shake while driving. Just so happened we were only a few miles from Downtown Car Care, we stopped in and they got us new tires within a couple of hours and we were on our way! Because of them, we had a great vacation and made it back home safely! Definitely gonna stop back by so they can “check our tires” on our next trip to Florida! Wish these guys were local to us, we would definitely go to them regularly!

Super fast, friendly team. The owner greeted me warmly, and his friendly team kept great communication. The price was downright astoundingly good for such a well-kept, professional garage in the downtown area.

Fast and friendly service. Extremely reasonable rates compared to dealerships and you still have ASE Certified Mechanics that can do the work you can trust! I have known Harold 2 decades and he is as good as they get in bringing resolution to a car issue or concern. I would trust my mom, my wife, my sister and any daughter to go there alone and know they would be well taken care of there! Great job Harold and Chris!!
