Services
Laura is the Practice Manager for all three of our locations. She is a second generation Rockwall native. She started in the dental field as an Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant in 2008, passing the Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Exam. Laura has lots of experience with children, growing up with four younger brothers.
Everyone at The Smiley Tooth is dedicated to helping children have healthy teeth and smiles for a lifetime. To help children achieve our goal we have Glitter the Tooth Fairy available to come out and educate your students about great oral hygiene habits. We have designed a 20-25 minute presentation which includes reading a story about going to the dentist and teaching them ways we can care for our teeth, such as how to brush and floss.

I’m so disappointed in way this dentist has changed. I’ve been bringing my twins here since they were babies-literally years- and never had an issue till today. My girls had appointments for their regular cleaning and when we got there they said they didn’t show we had insurance so we owed over $500. I reminded them we did have insurance. I was attempting to download another copy of our card but it was taking a long while to come through. I realized they were going to make us wait until we either paid them $500 or we showed them the card. Again- we’ve been patients at this practice forever

I have a 5-year-old autistic child, and this is the first pediatric dentist that has successfully treated her. Dr Mai is extremely patient, and the staff is very friendly, organized, and helpful! The dental assistants are very thorough and patient as well. I am very thankful to Dr. Mai and all the staff at the Goliad location. Thank you all so much! Highly recommended.

My grandson had a procedure(s) done here this morning. I was SO impressed with the way they handled him. The Dr and her assistant worked so well together, quickly and safely always paying attention to him. They did an amazing job . I never write reviews good or bad. That is just how impressed I was with this office. From the reception on. Thank you for treating us so great! Not to happy with the treatment plan. They wanted to pull some of my 4 y.o. son's teeth that were bad but not that bad. The office was small and seemed kinda crammed (this is all pre-Covid).I got a FREE second opinion from Heath Pediatric Dentistry and He thought the plan they had was a little extreme! So glad I changed offices, saved a bunch of money and majority of my son's teeth.

Being in the dental field myself, I like to have an honest and caring dentist for my children! One they love going to and can enjoy! This office is the best I found!!! The staff is amazing and easy to work with and the back office is amazing as well! My kids love coming to their visits and I love being able to trust the people working on my children! The dentists are very trustworthy and have been wonderful! I do recommend this office and have been telling friends and family about this office as well!

The people in the office are very polite and positive. They are eager to help in any situation. The hygienist and dentist were a delight. The atmosphere is truly kid friendly and so are the ladies there serving you. I would will be recommending The Smiley Tooth Pediatric. Thank for a great first experience for my 4yr old daughter.
