I am Amie Augenstein, I thank you for visiting my website and for considering my firm for legal representation. After living in Dallas for over 15 years, my family and I recently relocated to Corpus Christi. Prior to opening my firm here, I worked as an associate for a Dallas Employment Law Firm I represent both Employers and Employees, which gives me insight into both sides and keeps me sharp from every angle of any legal issue that comes up.
Many people facing criminal charges have the same questions. If you're dealing with the same issues, you're probably feeling angry, anxious, or even confused. Every case is different, which is why you should contact a Texas criminal defense attorney so you can have the right person by your side.

While nothing can take the place of a face-to-face consultation, there are some common questions that people ask when they're planning their Texas criminal defense strategy. You should never talk the police without the presence of your attorney. If you're being questioned by the police, they probably don't have enough evidence to arrest you and are hoping you'll make an incriminating statement.
If you're dealing with a DWI charge in the State of Texas, you're probably feeling a frustrated, confused, or annoyed. You may even be a little scared, because there are many questions to which you may not know the answer. What are the penalties? How much is it going to cost? Do you need to get a lawyer?
If you're facing a DWI charge in the State of Texas, you're most likely feeling frustrated, confused, or even annoyed. And because there are so many questions to which you may not know the answer, you might even be a little scared. There's a good chance you'll be facing some penalties, and you may not know how bad it's really going to get.
It's not illegal in the State of Texas to have a couple of beers before going for a walk. Even going out dancing or a jog after you have been drinking is legal in Texas. But, if you have been drinking, are out in public, and are endangering yourself or someone else, you're breaking the law.

According to Section 49.02 of the Texas Penal Code, public intoxication is when "a person appears in a public place while intoxicated to the degree that the person may endanger the person or another."For the purposes of this law, a location that's licensed to sell alcohol (such as a bar or restaurant) is considered a public place.

I called to set up a consultation in the afternoon and was called back by Amie the very next morning. Amie was so courteous and informative for the possible case I inquired about via phone call involving a past employer issue. Thank you Amie!!! You were great in the way that I very much felt listened to and you really did make me feel like you heard me. You more than exceeded my expectations. I would recommend anyone to this great professional. Thanks again Amie!!!

The secretary or assistant was the rudest person I have ever had to deal with; cold-blooded & talks down to you. I was shocked especially under the circumstances. Not a compassionate person at all! I still don't know what to think about being treated so rudely. I'm sure that it does not affect Mr. Gale's performance as I hear he is a Great attorney! So...I'm left speechless....???

Please don't skimp on legal matters. Chris and Amie might be expensive, but they're worth it. Money can be replaced, but a life of freedom can't.
