I have been seeing Dr. Shapiro and his team for years. I couldn’t tell you how many times he’s saved me from pain without some long drawn out treatment plan. His goal really is to fix you and not see you except for maybe maintenance visits. I’ve gone in for everything from strained muscles in sports to sciatic and back pain to neck issues from my funky spine. I just hobbled in again today and he worked his magic. The relief is truly unexplainable, I couldn’t even sleep last night my spine felt so compressed. Highly recommend!

I started going to Dr. Shapiro about 10 years ago and I saw him regularly for my headaches. He helped me so much with the adjustments and the decompression. After a while my headaches were so rare that I barely went to him and then I ended up moving away. Before I moved he showed me some exercises to do for my neck which help a lot too. I moved back after a few years and recently my headaches have been creeping back but I also haven’t been good about doing the exercises. I put off going to him but finally I couldn’t stand my almost daily headaches again. I should have gone back to him sooner

Over the years I had been to several chiropractors. Most of them were helpful. Just a few months ago, my back and neck began to give me more pain than I had experienced in ages. Upon recommendation of an elderly friend, I went to see Dr. Dean Shapiro of King Chiropractic. His treatments work! I have begun to feel like living again and my pain is lessening! I would recommend anyone needing some pain relief to see Dr. Shapiro.

I injured my back at work and spent almost a week in severe pain. I couldn't sit, stand, sleep, breath without sharp shooting pain. I had a slight slipped disc in my lower back. I finally said that's enough and made an appointment with King's Chiropractic...WHY DIDNT I DO IT SOONER?!?! Dr. Shapiro did a thorough examination, he also found I had a rotated pelvis, I didn't even know I had! He then did a couple adjustments and after the first visit I could sit and walk again! I came back later that day for manual therapyand therapeutic exercises followed with a laser therapy session and when I left

Just went down to visit Dr. Shapiro for a last minute appointment regarding my lower back pain. The process was easy, smooth and efficient, literally just a phone call away. Dr. Shapiro is not only personable and friendly he knowledgeable and considerate and take all of your personal conditions and concerns into the equation of his treatment. He is also very educating with his patients about how to prevent injuries and maintaining proper postures and avoid inappropriate neck and back popping. I felt improvement right off the treatment and was satisfied and confident in the expertise in his practice

Went to Dr. Shapiro after a long plane flight which reactivated a serious "crick" in my neck. His expert adjustment and consultation fixed the problem immediately. His staff is friendly and compassionate, which is really nice to find when you're in pain. He has some excellent equipment (adjustment table and electro-something-or-other) that I have never seen before in other offices - and I've been to many chiropractors around the country over the years. Results were that the adjustments were less painful than I've experienced before. I highly recommend his services.

Unfortunately I have not yet been to King Chiropractic. The first time I made an appointment I cancelled to try acupuncture first. Siobahn (sp?) set up that appointment and gave me helpful information. She's great! Then I made an appointment 3 weeks later. I had a few questions the second time I made an appointment like how long it would be. My remark was "40 min that seems too fast!" Her response was "well ya...a regular appointment is only 20 min." It came off rude and snotty and I'm not even sure she noticed. Not sure if it was Jamie or Jenna. I made another appointment

I've had positive results at King Chiropractic with some chronic musculoskeletal conditions as well as with a sprained ankle, rotator cuff problem and bursitis in my knee. Dr. Shapiro's hands-on treatments are very thorough, and I usually feel somewhat better after just one session. He typically prescribes follow-up physical therapy in his office or another practice, and those treatments combined with exercises he recommends have done the trick several times. In fact, after doing his exercises for my neck--following his online instructional videos--for several months, my neck felt stronger

I have been to many chiropractors. I have even worked at a chiropractors office when I was younger. I didn't ever experience anything as awesome. I went in because my back was hurting and I had heard that he can fix my vertigo problem. He did, I no longer have the room spin - he fixed that issue in one session. Honestly the experience was great. I left breathing deeper and feeling taller and wanting to afford more care for myself. It was rather spoiling!

I experience tremendous pain relief after a chiropractic treatment with Dr. Shapiro. He has shown me simple, effective exercises for relieving my neck pain and provided other recommendations that have been crucial to managing my neck pain. As a disabled vet, my military service connected injury subjects me to chronic back problems. These injuries, as a current peace officer, make my line of work difficult. After my back went out the last time, I was in bed for 3 days with debilitating pain. After that, I managed to hobble around with walking sticks for several days, while bent in two. I love king chiropractic. I've been going ever since I was little. They have been able to fix things, that my doctor wanted to correct with surgery. During my first pregnancy I went twice a month and it helped with all my aches and pains so well that I didn't have any till I was ready to pop! They are reasonably priced, and always think of you and what's good for you first. Not what will make money off you. They give you honest diagnosis that my doctors always agree with. I'll definitely keep coming here.

I was referred to King Chiropractic by a friend while working in Eureka for a few months. I came in for headaches, as well as neck, shoulder and knee pain. I was able to get an appointment within 1.5 hours of visiting the office of King Chiropractic, which was much appreciated as I was in pain. My very first treatment offered some relief, and each succeeding treatment has improved my condition. Dr. Shapiro and the amazing table he uses are a great team. Short story: I had a knee injury, thought I would need surgery, but after treatment, I am completely recovered. More: For 4 months after injuring my knee, it felt like it was being stabbed with an ice-pick; I could only hobble around. I tried heat and cold, and anti-inflammatory pills. No change. I had been going to Dr. King for years, on occasion, when I needed an adjustment. After going through a divorce back in 2008 and losing my medical insurance, I quit taking care of myself properly. Dr. Shapiro and King Chiropractic have been fantastic!! They've listened to my symptoms, explained the causes, and set a course of treatment. I noticed a substantial difference in just a few visits and I now feel better than I've felt in at least a decade. Suffering with a sharp pain in and under my shoulder blade area, I decided to go to Dr. Shapiro. (I have always walked out of his office 100% better.) Only this pain was a soft tissue (muscle) problem. He has continued to work with me on this and I can say happily that it is 75% better. His staff are so friendly, and his treatments are painless. I would never go anywhere else for treament.

I was a little nervous about going to a new Chiropractor when I moved from out of the area. I had previously gone to the same chiropractor my whole life, but this office came highly recommended by friends and co-workers. Dr. Shapiro seems very knowledgeable in his field and really takes the time to figure out what is best for each patient.
