Being a successful full time wedding photographer, and at the same time economical, has set me apart from others in my business. Riverside and Corona have been the hub of my operation since the beginning. I've photographed at almost all venues in this area, plus know the shortcuts and the good and bad at each one.
I have been very fortunate as a photographer. The city of Riverside and Riverside County are very large. Being dispatched on a daily basis to photograph people, places and things, I know a lot of great venues, parks, buildings, etc. for all types of projects and events.

Wedding and commercial photography often times go hand in hand. Inland Empire photography offers everything from lakes to boats to ball parks and buildings. A creative photographer who can keep it together is really important. Guests are almost always late and traffic is generally the reason. I have never been late.ever!
Temecula and it's vineyards provide some of the most picturesque settings you can have for any event. As a wedding photographer, Temecula Valley, still in Riverside County, is full of beautiful wineries and restaurants. Over the years my commercial photography assignments have given me the opportunity to meet most of the winery owners and the families of the area.
When I started photographing weddings and events, I was somewhat well known in the Inland Empire as a "can do" type of person. There was always more to the photo process than getting the job done. The people skills, patience and ability to show people how to have fun are as much a part of my business as my photographic abilities.

Jim is energetic and has a lot of attention to detail. He was the photographer for my employer's ribbon cutting in the city of Corona back in 2018. Recently, we needed the images from him that were somehow misplaced before, and he went back two years to put this event on a disc for us, and drop it off at the Corona Chamber of Commerce office 20 minutes away from his home. He is a man of his word, and as we thought, the images came out perfectly and the evening was captured splendidly.

Jim Dorsey is a fantastic photographer and very reliable. His prices are very fair and he is an engaging, likable and honest person. His quality of product and service set the bar for what you would expect from a photographer. He has been a Corona Resident for decades, is well known and well liked, has a heart for the community, always doing charity events to support community outreach and no one has an unkind word to say about him. If you need a photographer, you could not make a better choice than Jim Dorsey.
