Macaulay Law Offices
Since 2002, Macaulay Law Offices has assisted people in St. Paul and the surrounding areas with their important legal needs. Part of the value Jennifer provides is direct communication with clients. She is a caring adviser who makes people feel at ease and helps them through the legal challenges with divorce and charges that may take them to court.

After more than 15 years of assisting couples through divorce and other family law issues in Minnesota, we know how charged and stressful these cases can be. Our family law lawyer Jennifer Macaulay provides the calm, caring environment that allows for settling issues with a level head and the experience and backbone to litigate when settlement isn't possible.
Services
Attorney Jennifer Macaulay grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and admits she remains a Packers fan to this day. She moved to Bloomington, Minnesota, as a high school freshman and graduated from Jefferson High School. From there, she attended college at the University of Minnesota, where she earned a BA in political science and a BS in environmental science, graduating with honors.
Attorneys see people during some of the worst times of their lives. One of those times is when marital and nonmarital relationships break down and encounter hardships. For more than 15 years, Macaulay Law Offices has helped Minnesota families find solutions to their family law disputes. Whether you are getting a divorce or otherwise ending a relationship in which children are involved, we can help.
Whether you are a first-time offender or have been through the system before, being charged with a crime can be a frightening experience. You feel like you are being put in a no-win position: You want to answer questions to clear your name, but you know that anything you say can be used against you to support a conviction.
The stakes are high in criminal cases. Despite defendants having so much to lose, no one is perfect. Judges, criminal defense attorneys and prosecutors all make mistakes from time to time. The question that an appeals court would ask is whether the errors changed the outcome of your case. If there is a chance that this happened to you, an appeal may be worth considering.

We couldn't have asked for a better attorney to fight for us in our custody battle. She was very knowledgeable, honest, and was definitely working for us. She explained the entire process to us very well and made sure we understood every little detail that was happening.

I had a very informative phone consultation which answered the numerous questions I had regarding my situation. I worked with Jennifer on a post decree case involving parenting time and support and had a great experience. In the initial consultation Jennifer took a good amount of time to understand the specifics of my case, provided me with a good understanding of what reasonable outcomes I could expect and how her fixed fee structure worked. Throughout the case she provided good legal perspective and advice and was understanding/empathetic of the personal aspects as she did so. I was impressed with her knowledge of the family court staff/judges on my case and of opposing council. In the end we achieved
