Large and delicious appetizer with octopus, jumbo shrimp, crispy breaded fish filet, shrimp ceviche, fish ceviche and oysters*. Cooked to your liking, served with beans, homestyle potatoes, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado slices, jalapeno, asado and two tortillas.

The best place for authentic Mexican food! I love to order their combo plates and even though I can barely walk I’m so full, I always finish the entire plate, which is massive! It’s home cooked, well seasoned, and consistently delicious. The service has been a bit hit and miss, like last time the server kept forgetting things like when we’d request more salsa, but it’s not a big deal when the food is so d@$m good!! I also highly recommend sharing a pitcher of margs if there are two or more of you. It’s a REAL marg and not that pre-made mix.

The service was friendly and responsive. The food was so-so; both my bacon-wrapped-shrimp and my rice were dry, and the "jumbo shrimp" were more like medium shrimp. The salsa for the whole table was very spicy (hot to extra-hot), so very few people were able to enjoy it. And finally they kinda nickel & dimed us with extra charges for more flour tortillas (only 2 per entree) and even charged for more chips at the table.

This used to be one of our favorite places. I just haven't felt the same warm welcome that we got when they were up on North Main. I find the food acceptable for the most part, other than too much cheese at times and we thought their "large" shrimp cocktail was rather small. Also, I tried to order cocktails last time and they were out of ingredients for my first two choices! ...But the cocktail I did have was good with plenty of liquor so I will give them that.
