The worst scam people I have ever met. I paid $38K for renting a property, left it in exactly the same condition I took it, 3 last months paid the rent and utilities without living there. They complained that the carpets smelled bad so I offered $1000 out of my deposit to clean the carpets but they took all of the deposit ($2000) then replaced the carpets with new ones and sent me the bills $500 for cleaning and $3000 (on the top of my deposit) for replacing as well as other bogus charges (like $125 for light bulbs). Wonderful agents and office staff, everyone was always very helpful and responds in a very timely manner. Most of the people who work there can help with most questions, though the specific questions for your agent are passed on to them and they get back to you quickly and are all very friendly. Don't rent ANY properties from here unless you want to deal with nightmare repairs if you can even call them repairs. We were without AC for weeks in the middle of summer, without a working refrigerator for close to 6 weeks, had sparks flying at us out of the breaker box and were told it's not an emergency. They will expect the house to be perfect when you move out yet when you move in they allow you to have to do yard work and replace 15 of the lightbulbs without compensating you for such. Nightmare to deal with when it comes to getting things repaired that aren't your fault. Oh

The personnel here at First West Properties Corporation were very professional and friendly the whole time I was renting a property from them. They were quick to respond to any issues that I had and fix them within 48 hours. I recommend them to anyone who needs a rental property or purchase property. I had a great experience with First West! Shawna Fenning was awesome! If anything needed to be done they took care of it right away. They were always friendly and professional. At the end of my lease I was given back my deposit. I would recommend this company and if I still lived in Sierra Vista would rent from them again.

When I rate companies, I rate them on whether I would do business with them again or if I would recommend friends/ family do with business with them. Both are a no from this company from the property management side. I cannot speak of the real estate side on the business.
For the majority of time I rented from them, they were tolerable, with the exception that the owners of the house (who lived around the block) stopped over unannounced at least 1-2x/ month and First West did essentially nothing to stop it (considering I found out later it is illegal to come over unannounced without 24 or 25 hour

The absolute worst property management company I have ever rented from. All started well, loved the actual owners of the rental I occupied for three years as they came to inspect the property at least once a year. They always expressed gratitude for how well I maintained their house. The issues came when I gave notice that I would be moving out of state. The property manager was extremely unhelpful and unwilling to do anything to make the final walk through process easier or even doable with the time frame I had for move out. We own two homes and First West Properties managed them for several months. First West no longer works for us. We would not recommend them to owners or to prospective renters. Our opinions on our firsthand experience with First West are as follows:
1. They did not listen to us or to our tenants. They did not include requested conditions in leases. They did not respond timely to maintenance needs.
2. They were unreliable. They arrived late or did not show up to preview properties for prospective tenants.
3. They did what they wanted to do, and did not take our direction.

I signed up with them to rent my house. Three months later after they kept saying I would need to lower the rent, still nothing. I gave them one more week to rent it - nothing. They lie about everything from calling you to whether or not your property is being advertised etc. I cancelled my contract and rented my own house within 7 days at my original asking price after waiting over three months for First West to do nothing. Took them over two months to list my property on MLS. When I inquired I was told, "we never said we would list it on MLS". What in the world did they think

Today the manager of this company violated my senior disabled mother privacy. Here is our account of what happened. I had stated on 2 occasions that the keys for our home did not unlock the front door and we where very careful not to lock ourself out.
I left my home for a doctors appointment and left my mother that has early onset dementia and hearing loss due to a head injury in 2010 at home. I received a phone call from First West Properties stating they needed access to the house and they where their today. I explained, I was not at home and had not seen my mother since yesterday
