Mr Smythe was general partner that acquired and renovated a distressed 45,000 S.F. mixed use asset in Warrensville Hts., Ohio. Building was purchased at opportunistic price from a motivated institutional seller. The property required very proactive management and a marketing effort. A full renovation was completed and the property was fully leased within 18 months.
Smythe Property Advisors' President/CEO, Christopher E. Smythe, has been active in the commercial real estate business since 1984. He has considerable experience in real estate investment, asset management, investment brokerage, syndication, and development finance.
Prior to forming Smythe Property Advisors, Mr. Smythe had worked with the Wells Fargo Realty Advisors in Chicago, Cragin Lang, Inc, (now Newmark Knight Frank) in Cleveland, and was a partner with the Chartwell Group, LLC (now Hanna Commercial) in Cleveland.Smythe Property Advisors, LLC has 20 employees and currently provides brokerage, investment and property management services.

After a busted concrete sidewalk in front of my front door for 1.5 years...I finally fell because of it. Seeking help from this Management was ignored. They didn't care about me as one of their tenants.. and were extremely RUDE. They were clearly at fault for neglect of property safety, even putting an outdoor carpet over the problem, when there yearly safety inspection was scheduled. Quite simply, they don't care about the safety of their rental properties they manage, or the tenants that live in these properties. I am just getting started through social media with educating the public!

This is my first google review and actual review of anything online. Unfortunately, it's not because I am extremely impressed with this property management company. I lived at the Chelsea Point Commons in Tremont, that was managed by Smythe for a little over two years. Overall the place itself was not great. We had electrical issues, problems with A/C units, loud noise from the highway at all times, gun shots on a regular basis, packages being stolen from our mailbox and front porch, cars being broken into and even one car stolen from the parking lot, and a litany of other issues.
