Ray started out taking shop class in junior high and continued through high school. When he was asked what do you want to do? he replied, "I want to build". Over the years the early part of his career was with local remolding and cabinet shops where he learned how to do every phase in home building. More recently Ray worked for a custom home builder where he worked as a lead carpenter and Foreman. This is where he was inspired to get his contractor license and start his own business with wife Laura.
