Another find right off the freeway. I had Chile Pablano and George had mole. The wine selection was limited but the beer and margaritas were great! The biggest surprise was they had churros. Overall a great find! Food was hot and properly seasoned. George added hot sauce but you can't please everyone. I wanted to add they have Jarritos in bottles.

Never heard of this chain and assumed it was a local place, didn't realize it was a chain until doing research after! Food is far from authentic Mexican but pretty good regardless. The menu is huge and has a lot of interesting vegetarian options!
I got the Burrito en el Huerto. I thought it was odd that they didn't close the ends of the tortilla, but, since it was smothered and not meant to be picked up and eaten with the hands, this didn't have much of an effect on the eating experience. I love the experience at toreros! I am a regular here & food never disappoints but new employee jackie has terrible customer service. Never have a dealt with a disgusting terrible service. Everything else was good

Their rocks magarita is a slushy. they do not have ice cubes AT ALL. this makes one use a straw - totally weak watered down. all they serve is frozen marg now basically. avoid this if you like marg.

it's a cash grab. so much crushed ice. very little drink. good grief.

the good part? service was great and the food looked great on the plate. we'd appreciate more spice for sure but it was good and filling.

This is located on Peach St. by Kohl's. The restaurant staff is friendly. The food is always hot and tasty. We've enjoyed eating here plenty of time and have utilized the take out option. Would recommend

The service is excellent. The portion are huge for the price. The food is fantastic. The chili verde is phenomenal. Highly recommend! We live over 2 hours away and make it a point to eat here each time we are in town!

I highly recommend this place if you haven't visited yet, make this your top priority. Food is delicious and the staff is friendly.

It's exactly what you expect every time. It's not top shelf - but service is friendly and fast. The food always seems fresh. And it's consistent.
Erie isn't loaded with great Mexican places - but this is my favorite kinda by far.

My favorite and my only Mexican restaurant that I go to. Friendly service, great food, huge and varied menu. My favorite is pork carnitas, it's slow cooked falling apart delightful! The frozen margaritas are awesome too! Wonderful people

The menu said the quesadillas were crispy, it was the first word in the description. They were far from crispy, especially the chicken quesadilla.

When being checked out by Natasha, I told her I didn't think she was very professional and she told me that she didn't care. I won't be back.

Very friendly service. I visited with 5 others, three of which were kids. Everyone enjoyed their food. I was pleased that my chimichanga was actually crispy. They give you ample portions as well. We love out-of-town but would return if we were local.

Great place for Mexican food in Erie. The thin tortilla chips were warm and crisp. Our shrimp fajitas and enchiladas with mole were just right. Beans and rice were warm and satisfying. Margaritas were served in giant goblets. As an added bonus, the Steeler game was on TV.

Wow, this place is awful. This is the worst mexican food I've ever had. I don't understand why it's rated four stars. I have done a lot of traveling and been to some really great mexican restaurants. The only positive I can list is the prices but once you get the food, you will understand why.
The salsa is bland and thin. It took some of the hot sauce at the table to give it any flavor. I ordered the mole poblano which featured a couple thin strips of chicken in a large pool of flavorless mole sauce. The rice was burnt and the refried beans were average. My boyfriend ordered the

There are not too many mexican restaurants in the area so this place is worth checking out. You get a pretty big portion of food and free chips and salsa prior to your meal. My actual meal (fajitas) was good not great. The menu is pretty extensive so I will probably come back to try more.

We have eaten here a few times before. In the past we have had great service and food. Yesterday the opposite happen. I was very disappointed in the service, atmosphere and the food. I understood they seem to be very busy when we got there. It took about 15-20 minutes before our server even acknowledged we were there. Once he took our order it took forever again. Wondering if our order was even placed. Finally I got his attention and asked if our food was coming. He said yes, he did refill our drinks a couple of times. We did not expect to find amazing Mexican food in Erie so Torero's was a great surprise!
The food was incredible, the menu expansive. The service was the best we have had, in Erie! We are looking forward to going back!

We stopped in for a quick bite to eat while we were on a road trip. The service was friendly and very fast. The dining space was pretty clean and the food was decent. We ordered chicken fajitas. Not my most favorite Mexican restaurant as I've tasted much better, but I appreciated the kind and quick service.

Excellent food and friendly service. Came here on a recommendation from the owner of a nearby quilting shop. The restaurant was packed when we were here so it took a while to get our food, but when it came out it was tasty and plentiful.

I had the Fajitas Sampler because I was starving! It was delicious and plentiful. My only slight issue was the shrimp was a bit 'fishy', so I didn't eat more than one bite of that. The refried beans are usually just an add on and an afterthought- but these were DELICIOUS. I gobbled them up before anything else!
