Services
RDP foodservice has been a local company from day one. Before America was hooked on pizza, the DiPaolo family was supplying fresh ingredients to the first pizzeria in Columbus, Ohio. We are family owned and operated to this day because that's how we got here. While we'll never forget our roots as a small Italian grocery, we couldn't be prouder to be growing into one of the region's largest food distributors.
RDP Foodservice has more than 50 plus years of experience providing the products that help restaurants thrive. As one of the leading independent foodservice companies in the country, we pride ourselves on continuing to provide the personal service experience our customers deserve combined with the buying power to compete with the mega-companies.
At RDP foodservice, we really are the guys next door. From warehouse to corporate headquarters to customer service, our leadership and our sales representatives are incredibly accessible. You'll quickly find that this isn't a company where you'll never meet the president - in fact, we encourage you to.
Caring for others and our community isn't something that emerged after RDP Foodservice found success. It was baked into our fabric before the company even started. Growing up during The Great Depression, our founder Richie DiPaolo watched as his parents often provided meals to hungry neighbors from their small corner grocery in Columbus, Ohio's Italian Village.
Let RDP serve as your connection point to vendors big and small. Backed by our partnership with UniPro Foodservice Inc., we service fine dining and fast-casual restaurants alike. When it comes to running a business, we're a foodservice provider that knows your brand depends on excellence at every stage of the game.

I was in a hotel parking lot just outside of Wheeling on the Cabelas exit. I went to back out my car and noticed I was blocked in by a RDP truck. I asked the driver if he could move and let me out. He said "not until I'm done doing my load". I was actually on the way to a funeral so time was of the essence to me. He said angrily "you can back out the other way". Well after 10 minutes and pure frustration I asked again and then he berated me and our conversation escalated. Which put me in an ugly light as well. So feeling helpless I took his license number TRC 2972 and the company info off the truck

I worked there as a CDL delivery driver in 2014. It paid pretty good then and was fairly close to my house. The trucks were a plus because you didn't have to fuel them. They trained me well and helped me when I had a really heavy day. they even gave me a paid day off once! It is hard work though. The one thing was that I didn't care for the language that those guys used all the time. As a Christian I felt out of place. Nonetheless pretty good place to work! JOHN 3:16 K. J. V.

Was here 25 minutes early for my 9:00a.m. appointment. The man in the office was not polite at all. Rude to me and the Hogan driver waiting. Finally got a dock door after about 10 minutes. 1 hour to unload 3 pallets! $110.00 lumper fee to get unloaded. Went to get paperwork and the guy was still rude!! Will probably never take another load there.

Had an interview today, and although the position wasn't right for me, everyone I met there today were gracious and friendly. Definitely a place I would want to work

Truck/Trailer docking require special skills not enough space to back in 53' "most likely off side backing". Receiver attitude OK. Receiver charges Lumper fee to unload cargo which is around $80 as of 11/20/15
