Colton and Allen are the best maintenance men. They are friendly and efficient. I have been with Barrington for 6 months now and I like my rental property. The area is a little noisy, and I hear gun shots pretty frequently. I am concerned about security, and someone coming in here. My husband's always gone and I am alone a lot. A security door would make me feel more secure. Other than that, this is a nice company to rent from. Ok haven't had any issues that they haven't tried to fix. I have read some bad reviews, I say be patient they will get to you. They have a lot of properties. Hope this helps

I entered a purchase contract to buy a home and gave Barrington Real Estate $1000 earnest money to reserve the property. 2 weeks before my closing date, Barrington RENTED the property to someone while it was still under contract for me to purchase. They never even told me they rented it - I found out during the home inspection. Barrington ruined my dream of owning a home because of their gross incompetence. How do you rent a home out while someone is under contract to buy it? It’s just unreal.

A red flag for me was that they don’t answer their phone you can’t speak to anyone. Lol How do y’all get them to answer the phone? I think that is very unprofessional. Ive never communicated with a rental company via only text and email. I just couldn’t fill out an application with them. There is no reassurance what so ever. Check out alabama rental property.

They never responded to request for repairs or complaints of animals scratching in the attic. With the ceiling caved in because of the scratching and nests it took a very long time for it to be fixed. I had to find a place to stay. At least 2 wks. When I returned I had to clean up after the workers including dried stool all over the bathroom. I was supposed to get my entire deposit of 750 back but I was given a check for 500 and they have not answered my calls or messages. I hope they are taking better care of this house. This is one they being paid to care for.
