Thank you so very much for your work in getting mom's estate settled. I really appreciate the additional help you gave me answering my questions and explaining whatever I didn't understand. You made a difficult time for our family easy, and we are grateful. It's been a long road - you went above and beyond to get us to its end, keeping me in the loop along the way!

Mellor and Backo LLP were recommended to us by our local bank personnel. We have recently moved to the area and needed new documents including a Will, Durable Power of Attorney, and Health Care Advance Directives. We were so impressed with the personal care taken with us. These were real people who listened to our needs and helped us draft exactly what we needed for ourselves and our family. Down-to-earth people, great service, and the cost did not break the bank! Thank you Attorney Backo!

I must say I was a total mess Mr. Backo was there to help me from the very beginning. He was very kind very understanding and allowed me to grieve and help me through the complete process of settling my mothers estate. His kindness was from there from the beginning to end.My questions were answered my fears were calmed.Shelly was beyond helpful any questions I had she was right there to help me from needing copies of papers to just answering simple questions. She had the answers. When Mr Backo had to leave town because of an emergency. I met with Jeff regarding a will so that I knew my child would be taken care of properly if something was to happen to me. Jeff was very professional and knew which questions to ask to make sure he got everything covered. Jeff and his law firm made sure to follow up and get everything completed in a timely manner since I am a procrastinator. I would highly recommend Jeff and this law firm!

I wanted to have a consultation with Mr. Backo and was told that their law office doesn't require masks. Not only do they not require them, but the receptionist Shelly almost laughed at me when I asked why they are not enforcing a mask policy. It appears as if Mr. Backo and the rest of this firm don't believe in the severity of this pandemic. I will be taking my business elsewhere (most likely Mr. Scovill) after this unprofessional interaction.

Don’t waste your time with Grissinger, very poor. I scheduled a $350 consultation but but walked away within 5 minutes after being insulted.
Be honest, as bar card members of the court, you may be good with simple things like traffic tickets, wills or squatters but are over your head with understanding fraudulent notes and mortgages. Nice attempted cover though.

Jeff Backo and I went to law school together. When my great-aunt passed away and left a mess of an estate in Florida, I knew exactly who to call. Jeff did a great job helping us resolve the estate so that my aunt's affairs could be wrapped up properly and our family could have peace of mind. Not only did he work hard on our matter, he was also patient and kind. I still appreciate the work he did for us and would highly recommend him.

I simply didn't have a good experience with this business. I paid for the consultation ($250.00 - $265.00) plus I paid for a letter to be written (total out the door $750.00) to the City Manager {emphasis added}. A letter was written [apparently] but the copy I received indicates it was sent to a lower level department (Property Standards). Had I been told the "letter" was going to be addressed no a no-named entity I wouldn't have paid any more then the initial consultation fee. I'm guessing attorneys can alter agreements at will and without prior consent of the payer'. I have since entertained
