Our office hours are Monday, Wednesday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Tuesday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Thursday from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. If you reach our office after our business hours, you may leave your contact details including your name and telephone number and we will return your call the next business day.
Nowhere is that more important than in the area of finances. This Financial Agreement shows our respect for your right to be informed in advance what our expectations are when it comes to finances. During your first visit, our dental assistant will take X-rays of your mouth for a thorough assessment of your oral health. Dr. Barsky will then discuss with you your treatment options, as needed. If your treatment plan entails an emergency procedure, or if you are in extreme pain, we will make every effort to see you right away.
Here at Franklin Avenue Dental Care, we offer a variety of solutions to improve your smile. With the highly advanced technology from BIOLASE, our dentist is able to perform procedures without causing trauma to the teeth, and at the same time, ensuring precise and effective treatments.
Our dentist is also specially trained to stop the progression of early cavities using pain-free, DRILL FREE DENTISTRY without the need for needles or drilling tools.Some of the cosmetic dental solutions we offer include PORCELAIN VENEERS, LUMINEERS, IMPLANT RESTORATIONS and TEETH WHITENING. Porcelain veneers and Lumineers are recommended for patients with all types of tooh imperfections such as chipping, cracking or discoloration.

Dr. Barsky is an incredible dentist! Everyone in my family goes to him for all the dental needs. He will always go the extra mile for his patients and will only do what is absolutely necessary. He even diagnosed my mother with neurological problem that was disguised as a toothache. He is very gentle and I am always very comfortable no matter what work is being done. My family has been with him for over 30 years and are happy to travel from New Jersey all the way to Long Island because he is the best! Dr. Barsky was recommended to me by one of my coworkers who has been going to him for 20+ years. He was so gracious and kind and took his time in his consultation with me while alleviating any fear I had. I’m definitely not a fan of going to the dentist, no one is of course, but he made the process quick and easy. The minute you walk into his office, you are greeted with such a warm welcome from everyone in his practice, that it puts you at such ease. That feeling is felt throughout your entire visit. From the conversations with Vicky about making an appointment, to getting a cleaning with Rosanna the hygienist, or getting work done with Dr. Barsky and Doreen his assistant, to discussing billing with Ella - everyone is amazing!! Dr. Barsky is spectacular and I highly recommend him. I've been a patient of his for a very long time and I wouldn't consider seeing any other dentist. He's extremely experienced, and at the same time well versed in current dental practices. Dr. Barsky is very friendly and thoroughly professional, always making sure to explain what he's doing in a way that's easy to understand. All of his staff comport themselves in the same way. A pleasant experience at each visit, which is not always something one can say about seeing a dentist.
