Services
Our number one concern is the health and safety of your pet. If your pet is scheduled for surgery, dental procedure, or any other service that requires anesthesia, we want you to feel confident your pet is in the best of hands. Whether a procedure requires general anesthesia or a simple local anesthetic, we are trained to be sure our pet is as safe as possible.
We provide a complete wellness program for your pet to keep them happy and healthy. Our wellness programs are designed to prevent disease and prolong the lives of your companion animals. We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. Early diagnosis of illness can lead your pet to a longer, healthier life.
It may seem like only yesterday that your pet was a playful puppy or curious kitten, but your pet's health needs change as they age. Just like humans, pets need to visit their doctors more often as they get older to keep them healthy. For senior pets, prevention is important. Arthritis, skin conditions, difficulty with hearing or vision, kidney disease, diabetes, hypothyroidism, and hyperthyroidism are common among senior pets.
Does your pet wear a collar and tag? What would happen if those were lost? Microchipping has become a popular and safe way to provide permanent identification that cannot be lost. A microchip is a small electronic chip about the size of a grain of rice placed under your pet's skin. It is injected easily with a needle similar to a vaccination needle.
We maintain a fully stocked pharmacy and can provide you with most common pet medications, including basic pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick prevention products, heartworm preventatives, and prescription diets. We are willing to write and call in prescriptions to the pharmacy or online-service of your choosing for medications not carried in-house.

We love Schroeder Vet! We have used them for our Primary for almost a year. I love that it's a smaller facility so it's a very personal relationship between the staff, my pet, and me. We took our girl bella to be put to her final rest with them and they allowed us to stay in the room as long as we needed, which really meant a lot to us. We still take our other pet and he loves them. Highly recommend.
I did wish they took care credit but that's okay!

I came to this vet office after it was recommended to us. We ended up having to put our 16-year-old girl down on our first visit. We paid extra to have Tiny cremated individually and have her paw print imprinted on clay. Four days after we lost her and we're all grieving, the vet called me to tell me that the crematorium made an awful mistake and cremated Tiny in a mass cremation and we won't get her ashes or paw print in return. I was broken by this. I'd had Tiny for more than half of my life and not getting to bury her for closure was brutal. When I called the crematorium to find

This review is about Dr. Logan. I loved Dr. Schroeder (see above review). I was at first impressed with Dr. Logan and I recommended several people to her. They had signs out that said "call on arrival, stay in your car and we will come out to get your pet". My dog had tummy issues. They put her on a prescription diet. It helped for awhile. Then it started over again. They sent a note out to me to roll her food in meat ball size and give it to her every 3 hours for a few days. I knew she would lose weight. On the morning she was to start back on her regular food, I heated it

When was the last time you got a "Welcome/Thank You" card from ANY service provider that's not trying to sell you anything???? That's what I thought. Just happened after my first visit to SVH. Yeah, the location is a small house, and the inside is kinda old, but who cares when you get excellent care from a vet that's been around a long-time and seen everything. This was my first visit after moving from Houston to Fort Worth, and I think I've got a winner for my GR girl. Dr. Schroeder listened carefully as I explained my dog's vet history, and offered a few
