I want to help people become an agent of change in their own life, feel safe and validated, and be the best version of themselves that they can be. I use inclusive, person-centered talk therapy to counsel and get to the root of the issues in your life; finding problematic patterns that are causing stress, anxiety, and feelings of being overwhelmed.
Secular Therapy is talk therapy that does not include religious interventions or affirmations. Secular Therapy is ideal for non-religious individuals, individuals who want to process religion-based trauma, individuals who have already obtained religious counsel and would like supplemental counseling, or individuals who wish to keep religion and therapy separate.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (or CBT) is a short-term, goal oriented psychotherapy treatment that takes a hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving. The goal of CBT is to change patterns of thinking or behavior that are ultimately responsible for a person's difficulties, and in doing so change the way they feel for the better.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (or DBT) provides clients with new skills to manage painful emotions and decrease conflict in relationships. DBT was initially developed to treat suicidal individuals and those with Borderline Personality Disorder, however it has since shown to be an effective treatment for a wide variety of other disorders such as addiction, depression, PTSD, and eating disorders.
We provide counseling and therapy for families and couples in intimate relationships to nurture change and development. Family Systems Therapy helps individuals resolve their problems in the context of their family units. Family and/or relationship issues are often the root of many psychological problems, even if these problems do not surface until much later on.
