Services
We first set-out to create River North Massage Therapy Center in late 1999, but came across a small dilemma: with massage therapy education as fragmented as it was at the time, how could we ensure consistency in the quality of the therapists that we hire? Rather than establishing a massage therapy center, the focus became 'education' and how to best meet the needs that were unmet by area schools.
Massage therapy treatments offered by our 30 professional, licensed therapists, and student sessions offered by the students of The New School for Massage. Available 7 days a week, at our location. By appointment only. Punctual, reliable, professional, quality, on-site chair and table massage available for company events, wellness fairs, conventions, and trade shows.
Massage treatments performed by students of The New School for Massage, under the supervision of an instructor. Student therapists will, at a minimum, be able to provide a Swedish (relaxation) massage; depending on their level of training at the time of the appointment, they may also have the skills to perform condition-specific work but we cannot guarantee that as appointments are randomly assigned to students at the beginning of their shift.
Premium: $143/month - includes one 50-minute professional session, 2 student sessions, and additional unlimited massages at 25% off. This is a shared membership. Wellness: $70/month - includes one 50-minute professional session and 25% off on unlimited massages. Student clinic: $30/month - includes one student clinic massage and additional unlimited student massages at 10% off.

this is the only facility my wife and I have been able to schedule a 2-hour massage(110 min.). Only downside to making the experience a great spa/self-care day is that it is no frills. Massage only---no relaxing lounge, plush robes, herbal teas, etc.

Michelle is a miracle worker! I had been having some pretty bad back and neck pain the last week and found this place on Yelp so thought i would try it out. Was able to book on-line for an appointment the next day which was very convenient. I wasn't looking for a spa, just a really good massage. Well, I found it! The receptionist was very friendly and the facility was clean. Michelle asked my if there were areas I was concerned about and I explained my back and neck pain. She went right to work. I had been looking for a new massage place for awhile and I am glad to say I have finally found it at river north massage! Great location, clean and calm facility and the service is excellent! The prices are extremely reasonable for the area and the quality is great! My massage therapist has been Alisa and she is absolutely amazing! She is so sweet and provides wonderful service, incorporating traditional Thai massaging techniques and stretching into our usual deep tissue session. She really took the time to ask me about my problem areas upon our first meeting and she was great about communicating

I had a Swedish/relaxation massage with Alex. The entire experience was easy, relaxing, and was the perfect end to a stressful day. The staff was professional. The clinic was clean and comfortable. Alex got some pretty tight knots out of areas that I didn’t even know had them! Solid two thumbs up!

Best massage I've ever had! I'm a licensed massage therapist myself, and I swap massages regularly with my coworkers. But Simone was extremely thorough and attentive to my requests and needs. Her techniques were very effective at relieving my pain and tension as well as relaxing. My husband and I came in for a couples massage and he was impressed with his massage as well. His MT was Marlin and he was surprised how much he loved her style. We will absolutely be returning here the next time we're in Chicago!

Came here as a birthday gift. I enjoyed my body massage! As a first timer getting a full body massage I was pleased with my experience. Emma was so patient with me and answered all the questions I had and made me feel comfortable! Before Emma started, she asked me a couple questions about work and what I do outside of work and based on that she was able to focus on the areas she thought I needed. I expressed to her that I am a runner and she worked on my legs really well! After my massage was over, she gave me pointers and tips to stretch out muscles she felt tightness in them. I'd return and ask
