The Yorktown Service Plaza is a family-owned business whose owners care about the community. In 1972 owner Doug Shull opened Yorktown as a small service station. Forty years later, you will still find Doug, who began as an ASE certified Master Technician, at the same location. These days, he is joined by his sons, Byron and Matt, and his wife, Mary Hartman Shull.

I don't even know where to begin. How do you explain to people that this isn't just a gas station. It's a service center, a car wash, a social hub, and they have better food than some of the local restaurants. I stop here multiple times a week and i highly recommend making it a part of your routine.

My first time coming here. Great bunch of guys who seemed honest, thorough and direct. Called Friday afternoon for tires, appointment was made for the following Monday morning. If I had one to find something to complain about (which I'm not) is that it took 2 hours to put the tires on. I will definitely come here first for any future concerns. Thanks to everyone involved at YSP!

I'm very happy I came here. It's located at Valero/Yorktown Service plaza, which has everything you need. Waiting area has bookshelves and friendly staff. Ron was very sweet, and Bob was helpful. My car is fixed, they provided me a cool loaner car for the day to work. They open early, and I will be coming back for tires and radiator that I needed anyhow.

Bob had good suggestions and was very helpful before I made the appointment. Bob and Ron were both thorough and aware of each customers needs. I stayed with the car for 2 hours as they changed tires and they tried as much as they could to get me out in time(we ran 8 minutes over, but I expected this as I did not give them a long work window). If I had the option I would likely drop the car off in the future.

The only place I’ll go for any car maintenance. Bob and Ron are super nice and helpful, and they handle every transaction with courtesy and professionalism. They’re very upfront with what they do and don’t cut corners. Absolutely would recommend going here if you have any car issues.

Great place for gas or extra items that you might need. They have a nice food section inside with made-to-order food items for lunch or dinner. The service station attached is fast and friendly, I have had work done there and have never had any problems. Over all this is a great location and easy to get you. My original post was 4 stars, I meant to highlight all 5, so it is now 5. Thanks guys for going above and beyond other stations!
