Originally from Demopolis, Alabama, Mr. Holliman moved to Mobile in the summer of 1979 after working for Price Waterhouse & Co., an international accounting firm in Birmingham, Alabama. Mr. Holliman received his credentials as a Certified Public Accountant in October of 1979. While in Mobile, Alabama, he worked as an associate with Smith, Dukes and Buckalew CPAs and was the comptroller for ADDSCO Industries, Inc.
Business valuation estimates represent what business owners could reasonably expect the market prices of their businesses to be in a transaction. Privately-held businesses are often hard to value. There's seldom an equivalent public company to compare it to, and the structure of the company can lead to a wide range of price calculations.
Our firm is Certified in Financial Forensics by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. We work with companies and their representatives to investigate potential cases of asset misappropriation or theft. These services are specifically designed by us on a case by case basis to fit the subject company.
Over the past thirty five years we have seen the operating results and financial conditions of hundreds of companies in various industries. Most of these companies are owned and operated by individuals who are busy working in the business instead of working on the business. This condition usually results in companies underperforming and under their optimum value.
Our traditional accounting services include timely financial and management reports usually on a monthly basis. We strive to understand each business and to measure the key operating elements that affect profitability and value. The resulting scorecard is then communicated with management. Our financial services are designed to provide external VP of Finance services to the senior management team.
