Gennaro's Italian Restaurant & Tomato Pie

On 1/15/22 my family and I were there to celebrate my husband's retirement. I ordered "home baked lasagna" for dinner. It was awful! It consisted of 2 thin layers of overbaked noodles with some dried out ground beef and a couple of tiny dabs of ricotta cheese. It seemed to have been baked like that and only then was sauce poured over the dish! Someone needs to learn how to make baked lasagna. I have had frozen lasagna from Costco that was far superior to this. Everyone else in our party enjoyed their food.
I also thought the restaurant was noisy and it was difficult to have any kind of conversation

Gennaro's is our go to place for dinner. I've had just about everything on their menu and haven't had a bad meal once. I love that it's BYOB and the staff is great.

Excellent service with a lot of delicious choices. Atmosphere is warm and comfortable and the owner takes interest in his customers satisfaction. Will definitely recommend and come here again. Ample parking as well.

I ordered several catering trays for last Saturday. Chicken Parm, Sausage w/
peppers and onions, Ziti, Ravioli, stuffed mushrooms and the house salad.
Everything was delivered on time and was delicious! My guests raved about the food. Thanks, Gennaro's!

My choices were delicious, although others with me were not happy with theirs. I had pumpkin ravioli, which was yummy. Also had fried zucchini and eggplant rolitini as appetizers - very good. My favorite was the side salad.

The food here is unbelievably delicious as always wait staff are really great and friendly. If you haven't been there you have to go and try it. You won't be disappointed. The outside patio is very nice also.

Love the patio area but we ate inside this time due to a chill in the air. The tables are comfortably placed from each other.

Very disappointed with this restaurant. My family goes there once a month for a nice dinner. Unfortunately my mother's dish was served with a small amount of sauce. When we asked for more sauce they wanted to charge us additional money. It took over ten minutes for the sauce to come.

The food here is always delicious. The restaurant industry is struggling right now to find servers that want to work but everyone working here are doing their best and working very hard. They had 3 servers tonight for the entire restaurant and we still got very nice service and had no issues. Anyone complaining about waiting an additional 5 minutes for something needs to have a little more kindness and patience. Will always return here! Definitely make a reservation! Even on a Monday night they had a full house.

Had a good time! Food was pretty good (a little heavy on the garlic and the strip steak was not trimmed at all) Server was polite and attentive, atmosphere is incredible. They don't take reservations but we went Saturday at about 5:00 and there was no wait. The bread is delicious as well. BYOB.
