I am Mark Nakamura, the photographer and owner of Nakamura's Photography. I have been professionally photographing weddings since 1991 and have photographed over 860 weddings. I have done countless number of senior portraits and families, too. I also am a travel, and scenic landscape and seascape photographer.

Nakamura's Photography was the photographer for the new San Luis Obispo County's new airport terminal. Photographing the exterior and interior for the architectural firm for San Luis Obispo County's new airport terminal. Nakamura's photography photographed the interior of the rooms for Hotel San Luis Obispo and also the staff and the events for them.

We had a great multi-family, multi-generational Thanksgiving photo shoot with Mark. He expertly arranged the 18 of us to create a wonderful set of images that will be treasured for years to come. The whole process was fun and relaxed for kids, parents, and grandparents alike, which you can see in the happy faces in the pictures. Mark was great to work with -- very responsive, selected and scouted out a perfect location for us, and delivered the images the next day. We'll be calling him again next year!

Nakamura's Photography is second to none. Mark's eye for a good shot is one of a kind, truly remarkable. He captures the true essence of any subject with the right combination of lighting, perspective, and setting. We booked Mark as our photographer for our wedding. He was extremely responsive and an absolute pleasure to work with! We did our engagement photos with him at Montana de Oro and he was very knowledgeable about the area and took us to several spots to get beautiful photos. On our wedding day he was fun, professional and punctual. It can be a challenge to get large groups of people together for group shots, but he managed everyone with grace and ease! It was such a pleasure doing business with Mark. We were celebrating an 85th birthday party and decided to have photographs taken. He was very quick to respond to my request and flexible when we had to make some changes. He was also very reasonably priced. The pictures came out beautifully! I would absolutely use him again and can recommend his services wholeheartedly!

Mark was quick to respond to my initial email for my daughter's senior pictures and communicative throughout the process. He asked what kind of a setting my daughter would like and gave recommendations. We settled on Cuesta Park, which the green foliage and natural sunlight made a beautiful background. Mark included myself and my son in a few of the photos, which was lovely. I received the electronic files the next day and was given an 8X10 print of my daughter, one 5X7 of my daughter and son, and one 5X7 of the three of us. We love all of the photos, which makes it hard for my daughter to decide

Mark did an amazing job capturing my parents 50th anniversary and Vow Renewals. He took beautiful pictures of our family and the events through the night. Mark is definitely the go to photographer for families, weddings, and anything else you need. Not to mention he did an awesome job with both my daughters soccer pictures for the high school as well. Mark is wonderful! He helped with our [secret] engagement. He was very communicative and responsive over both email and text. Mark took over 400 photos in the hour we hired him. He was able to catch us in action, as well as direct us to certain photogenic poses and positions. He was able to relay all pf the photos to us within a few days- amazing.
