Well I'm not very impressed what so ever with these people. They had our vehicle for almost two months, then charged us a lot of money to fix the problem yet, the problem is still there. Ya I would not recommend these guys to knowbody. Unless you need a vehicle towed...

Rick is a stand up guy. I bought a car from him and the vehicle had engine issues the next day. After calling him and explaining the situation he had the car towed back to his shop at his expense to fix the vehicle. He told me it was the right thing to do. He is an honest, kind person. Nixon's garage will have all my future business.

I came into the shop at 5.30 pm on a Friday night and the guys were super nice and did my state inspection. I was done in 20 minutes.

I have been a loyal customer to Nixon's Garage for 10 years now. They take care of both of my family's vehicles and they make sure that their prices are never high but still give wonderful quality service to my vehicles and my wallet. They know me by name and I them. I will always suggest Nixon's to any of my friends and strangers.

Update: I have put 50,000 miles on my '04 Malibu since Nixon's garage replaced the motor - it has had no major problems and is still very reliable transportation.

I have had decent service here in the past but this shop has signifacantly gone down hill over the last 6 months or so. Empty promises of deadlines that are not able to be hit and incompetent repairs.

Told them exactly what I needed done.Also them as well once I got there. They ended up replacing 3 interior door handles that were not broken as well as 1 exterior door handle. Also, had brake noise diagnosed(they told me after I called since they had forgot to do this as well) and the diagnosis was not printed off and appears to be inaccurate since I had a friend drive and noise was coming from rear and I fixed by spraying brake dust off drum. I explained that they fixed a bunch of things that clearly worked, and they would not give a partial refund or any compensation at all. I have went here

Was driving long distance to see my kid for the Thanksgiving holiday when the check engine light came on. Happened to be close to Joplin, and since I had just spent money on a full service check in OKC I figured someone might have left a cap off. Stopped checked oil and fluids all were okay but still the engine light was on. Well I was not getting to my destination until after dark and Joplin was a great place to make sure I did not have issues someplace I did not want to break down in the cold. Due to terrible communication and customer service from one particular employee, I never actually made it to Nixon's Garage. I'd heard several positive reviews from friends and family, so I thought it might be a good choice for my timing belt replacement (60,000-mile preventative maintenance). They were priced a little cheaper than the majority of places I called for quotes, and on my first contact with them a guy whose name I believe to be Rick, sounded very confident and friendly and assured me that the job would be completed for a price I felt was reasonable (around $300).
