I moved to the PNW to seek something new and this is where I decided to finally pursue photography outside of "just a hobby." So this post was inspired by a shoot on a cloudy morning at the Waterfront in Vancouver, WA. One of the first things they mentioned was that taking photos wasn't exactly second nature to them and they quickly shared their honest feelings about being nervous. I told them You mean, you're not used to a camera being in your face trying to capture intimate moments together?
However, when ice cream is no longer a strong hand in the game, don't worry, I'm not going to just pack up my camera and go. Don't forget that YOU are part of the family. I have heard several of my clients tell me that they haven't had photos of themselves since they were married. So now this is your chance to update those photos!
I was a part of the LGBTQ+ clubs in high school to show support for those dealing with it in the "Bless Your Heart" South, I've had long thoughtful conversations with those who were questioning their sexuality in fear of being persecuted by friends and family because they grew up in a "religious" setting and always offered an ear.

Jhezielle took photos during a fundraising event I had at my business (gym). The event was something near and dear to the hearts of everyone who attended and she truly captured that through her photos. Jhezielle’s work is amazing! She was able to capture beautiful photos of my family including a very not willing toddler. She never once seemed bothered by my constant need to have the best spot or angle. I even brought unexpected props to use! We plan to use her for all our family photos. Thanks for all that you do!

Jhezielle came into our home to take a family photoshoot with our 1 month old. It was super easy to schedule with her. She was on time, made us feel safe (COVID wise) and was super sweet. My husband and I are kind of awkward in front of the camera but she made it fun and the photos came out wonderful! We plan to hire her again for his 1 year photos :)

Jhezielle did such a great job photographing my kids! My wife wanted some pictures done of them for Mother's Day and we have nothing but positive things to say! We felt like she took her time and she had many great ideas for poses. We have an autistic teenager and she managed to get some of the best pictures of him! Jhezielle did such a fantastic job for our session! She was professional and really worked with each one of our kids. They are all so different and she captured them beautifully-as individuals and in groups. The kids were ages 17,10,10,9 and 3 and that amount of kids can be daunting but she just smiled and got to work. This was our first time using… a professional photographer and if you are unsure I would definitely recommend Jhezielle! She was knowledgeable and made me feel really welcomed. I will cherish all the pictures she took of my kiddos and I can’t wait to book another session

Jhezielle is outstanding. From the moment she stepped through the door her easy going, yet professional demeanor, put everyone at ease. The entire experience was fun and relaxing, which is a testament to her because we have a 2 year old who was the center of the photo shoot. Our daughter immediately took to Jhezieel and the rest was a cake walk for us. We can't thank her enough for taking the time to visit our home to shoot family portraits for us. She is outstanding!!

My husband and I recently moved to the PNW from AZ and scheduled family photos with Jhezielle to capture the beauty of our new environment. We decided to take photos at the Rhododendron Gardens and couldn’t be more thankful for the beautiful pictures we received.
