Services
Dr. Robert D. Genc studied economics at Stanford University and received his doctorate of dental surgery from the University of The Pacific, College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1994. Dr. Genc is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Orange County Dental Society, and the Newport Harbor Academy of Dentistry.
Barbara received her B.S. in dental hygiene from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 1981. She also received her B.A. in zoology from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1979. Barbara has been a registered dental hygienist in our office since 1981. She is highly experienced and is always up to date on the latest periodontal procedures and continuing education.
Our office is located at 360 San Miguel, Newport Beach, in the Newport Center medical/dental buildings. We are one of the few dental practices that has its own in-office dental laboratory for crowns, bridges and custom-color ceramics. This allows for the highest control of quality and customization for our patients.
After completing the initial treatment plan, our patients maintain a personal dental treatment plan consisting of regular prophylaxis and exams. Continuing dental care is a very important element in overall oral health and provides the key to avoiding extensive and costly future treatment. Our team of highly-trained professionals will work with you to maintain your optimum oral health.
A thin layer of porcelain is applied to the front of the tooth to dramatically improve its position, size, color and shape. Veneers are custom made by our laboratory technician and provide a long-term solution to esthetic problems. Chipped, stained, or worn teeth are repaired with the application of a tooth-colored composite bonding resin.

I have been going to Dr. Kimberly Johnson for 9 years. The entire staff is the best. Whether just showing up for my appointment or rescheduling. The hygienists are highly skilled and do not miss a single spot. Dr. Kimberly conducts exacting examinations and any recommendation(s) are explained in full detailed terms. Also all options are outlined.

My family moved here and needed a dentist . Dr's Johnson and Genc were recommended by friends. First my children went there and then I did. I find them to be EXTREMELY charming, intelligent, thorough and skilled. More so than any other dentist I or my family have had. My kids are very comfortable with them which is rare.
