Dr. Wilkinson has a true passion for dentistry. With over two decades of experience, he has gained the technical skills to provide his patients with healthy, beautiful, long-lasting smiles! He also enjoys attending continuing education courses to remain on the cutting edge of dental technology. A native of central Illinois, Dr. Wilkinson moved to Springfield after graduating from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 1998.

Beautiful, modern facility. The nicest staff with most peaceful, calm voices. They take care to make your experience one of calm and peace from the moment you walk through the door. The rooms have comfortable seating with TVs to watch while you wait and on the ceilings, providing a good distraction while having work done. The last time I went was an emergency visit as I had a cap fall off the day before we were leaving for vacation! They were going to do a temporary fix to get me thru vacation but by time I left, they had worked on me between other patients and managed to get me a permanent replacement

I’ve been going to Wilkinson Dental for a few years and they are just amazing! My last cleaning I had the pleasure of meeting Shelly, one of the hygienist there. She is really personable and friendly. She makes you feel at ease while getting your teeth cleaned. I highly recommend Wilkinson Dental.

My appointment today was at 930am on 1-19-2022. I didn’t have to wait and was greeted by Dental Hygienist, Shelly. She took a panoramic picture of my teeth and then the normal X-ray pictures. She offered suggestions on the care of my teeth and did a thorough cleaning. I was totally impressed and felt really comfortable with her. Dr. Gardner came in, greeted me, and did his examination. I could tell they genuinely care about their patients! I would highly recommend Wilkinson Dental to anyone looking for professionals to take care of their dental needs. They definitely take the anxiety out of anxiety

The dentist I previously went to had retired so I was very anxious switching dentists, but Kiki and Dr. Gardner made switching so painless. They were both very patient with me and explained everything in depth so it was easy to understand what I needed to have done. Also, the ladies that took care of my scheduling and insurance are always super nice and helpful. Overall, a great experience!

Wilkinson Dental is an amazing team from the reception, dental assistants/hygienists, dentists themselves, to the check-out process. I appreciate the text reminders about my appointments. The office has the latest technology and very comfortable amenities for patients (TV, eye protection, screens to display findings from your exam, water and chapstick at the check-in, etc).Before I even check in the receptionists know my name- even if I’m super early for the appointment, which I feel is surprising but maybe there is a secret to their identification of me despite the masking policies that I don’t

Wilkinson Dental is the best place to be! Cynthia is my girl! Very thorough and caring. I’m terribly afraid of the dentist and she’s very sensitive to that, going the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and at ease. She knows her stuff and is always recommending different products to ensure I have the best care. Most medical offices are cold and intimidating. Wilkinson Dental, and especially Cynthia, offers a warm and personable environment. Professional and friendly staff.

We have loved going to Wilkinson Dental for the last five years and plan to keep going for many more. If you want a family like atmosphere this is the place. Regular cleanings are preformed by friendly hygienists who remember who you are and ask after your family by name.
We've seen Dr. Wilkinson and Dr. Sun and had all our questions and concerns addressed. They hygienists and doctors are polite and offer positive guidance when you need to improve your flossing or brushing at home, no guilt trip or third degree. They are great with kids who are in the chair and who are waiting for a parent

Great atmosphere. As soon as I entered I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist. All the hygienists are very professional but yet friendly. I had Kayla who did an excellent job. I usually dread the dentist checkup but she made it very painless. Very modern & updated equipment. Highly recommend Wilkinson Dental!

My teeth aren't horrible, but it's been a good bit since I had last seen a dentist. I was very nervous going in. However, that quickly changed! Every staff member was extremely friendly, and seriously seemed to genuinely care. They made sure to make sure all information was thoroughly reviewed, confirmed my insurance info ahead of time, answered all questions... I cannot say enough amazing things about this staff. They're just incredible.
I'm going back in a couple weeks to have a few spots addressed, and I can go back in stress free. How awesome is that?!

I visited here for a dental emergency when out of my home state for work. The staff and Dr Wilkinson could not have shown me more attention. What a lovely experience, and who says that about going to the dentist? The staff is professional and helpful and patient. There was Keurig coffee, snacks and juice in the lobby. The comfort level and cleanliness was soothing. I highly recommend this dental practice!

This place spoiled me so much!! I had to bring my two-year old along with me to my appointment, and not only were they great with me but they were also great with my daughter. Even though I had planned ahead and brought a tablet for my daughter to watch movies on, she was understandably very curious about what was happening with Mommy. The hygienist explained things to my daughter as she went, and let me occasionally speak with her or get up to help her.
The hygienist was gentle and professional and did a great job. Dr. Wilkinson is very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions

First off I'm an RN so the review holds some validity Absolutely hands down the worst dental care I have ever had and also been a patient too. Went for a cracked tooth, they ended up extracting the tooth then splitting my jaw bone. Had to go in 4 times post extraction and they said "well I could dig around in there again and try to get more bone out"!!! What!!! My sutures fell out and I called twice to speak to someone. No one ever called me back until 2 days later and Dr Grey apologized for the miscommunication. They finally referred to a OMF dr and neglected to tell me it was

Wonderful office! The place in very clean and modern! They have a lab there and we're able to make my crown on the same day of placing it. The faculty assessed everything I needed to be done and accomplished it in no time! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to answer any questions or concerns I had and made my mouth beautiful again! Highly recommend Wilkinson Dental!!!

I was referred originally by a coworkers wife nearly two years ago. Since then I've been countless times and taken my whole family and referred other friends there. They provide great service at reasonable prices. It's a real people pleasing place. Once I needed work done but couldn't pay till payday they were happy to help me out. I would refer everyone to them. Great team, doesn't hurt that all the dental workers are very cute.

I had a horrible experience in Dr. Wilkinson's office. I started crying several times because I was nervous and he laughed every time.
