Wait time for vehicles for simple work, way to long. He also destroyed 3 family members vehicle motors, including the motor on my Truck. Flushed all our motors. Luckily I knew to parku Blazer before it wrapped a bearing, or spot a rod. Now, I have to pull motor to replace oil pump, and blow out all oil ports. I never asked him for a motor flush. Don't flush motors unless your pulling to rebuild. We no longer use Mike's Automotive On top of, never once tried to contact me back on my attempts to reach him. Oil change scammed my family.

GMC Sierra Denali Truck: our engine light came on and was flashing. My husband Gus called Mike who called him back the same day. We have used him before. Really good guy. It was the injectors. Even with the nationwide Supply Chain crisis and car parts being one of the hard to get items, Mike was able to fix the truck and we got it back in the timeframe promised. I would highly recommend Mike’s Automotive for quality work and reasonable prices.

Brought my son’s 19 year old truck to Mike twice. The first time was to rebuild the front end & realign. Just recently the truck was leaking coolant, heater was not working properly. Dropped it off Friday afternoon, diagnosed Saturday morning, mechanics tore it down, replaced the intake manifold and worked in the rain after closing time to get it done - because they said it would be done by end of day. They’re honest, reliable, affordable and everything you would want in a hometown automotive shop! Thanks Mike for getting him back on the road!

Mike’s automotive was very busy when I walked in but Mike was very respectful and responsive! The mechanics moved quickly to get my car taken care of. As a woman, it’s very easy to be scammed by mechanics. But Mike and his mechanics were open to explaining to me the issues with my vehicle and gave me a fair price! I will definitely be back and I recommend any women to not feel threatened if you need vehicle maintenance done.

Prepaid him $2700 and he's YET to replace my engine. Its been 4.5 mos since I asked him to replace it. So far he's been "sick w covid", "death in the family", "friend sick" , he had "heat stroke", was in the hospital allegedly, its ridiculous, the list goes on and on w excuses as to why my car isn't ready. If you need a real repair you're in trouble. Right now I'm fixing to contact a lawyer for my $$ back since he clearly has NO PLANS to fix my car. I thought I found an honest mechanic but its obvious this guy is robbing me.

Mike’s shop was the best. I like supporting local businesses and I’ve met mike in person before so I figure I’d give it a try. I was way more than pleasantly impressed. He fixed my alignment in about 10 minutes and helped me rotate my tires. The pricing was great, usually I spend around 100 for an alignment but here it was half that. So grateful for mike and his crew and I will definitely recommend this place for someone in need of auto service!!! 10/10

This was my first time here and I found the place on Google and chose it because of all the good ratings I’ve seen. My car basically stopped on me on a Saturday afternoon so I had to get it there quickly. When I called I was offered a recommended tow truck driver which I liked (I didn’t end up using them because the car ended up starting once more). I received a quick diagnosis and a good quote so I proceeded with having them fix what seemed to be a radiator issue. At that point the vehicle was pretty much in and out. I was referred to Mike’s Automotive by Discount Wheel and Tire in Pearland. I took my vehicle in for repairs in November of 2019. It was determined that my left wheel bearing needed to be replaced. I was charged $400.00, (parts and labor) for these repairs. At the time I thought that was very high. Fair warning - Don’t waste your time or money with Mike. He had our vehicle for months and never fixed it and refused to offer a refund even though he claims to stand behind his work. My husband tried to pick up the truck twice and the check engine light came right back on. He had to get a ride home both times. After that Mike never answered phone… calls and would just respond back from texts with, “I’ll call you back in 30 mins” (never would), “It’ll be ready by the end of the day” (never was), or “I have someone else coming to look at it
