Services
Since 2007, Counterintuity has helped hundreds of nonprofits, public agencies, and aligned businesses throughout California and the U.S. build awareness and support for their work to better people's lives. Founded by nonprofit executives with private-sector backgrounds, we are committed to working with organizations and people who seize the opportunity to solve societal problems and lift people up.
I have had the pleasure of participating in a variety of visioning, strategizing, marketing and planning processes with Lee Wochner. I highly recommend Lee Wochner and Counterintuity for their adaptive facilitation and strategic planning services and will continue to utilize them as an important part of our continuous business process improvement efforts.
To succeed, true leadership requires recognition. Because without recognition, people won't know that you've succeeded, and won't be empowered to support you, and won't be there helping to build upon your success. This is crucial for nonprofits and public agencies. We should be careful not to confuse marketing with boastfulness.
In today's podcast episode, Lee Wochner from Counterintuity and Stephen Halasnik from Financing Solutions, the leading provider of loans to nonprofits, discusses the. Who exactly was Sisyphus, and why does he set such a great example we should follow of how not to be? Words express meaning. Images evoke emotion.

I've been working with Counterintuity for many years--both for my nonprofit's website and for my own site. While I'm still impressed with their work--especially design, I rarely deal directly with my initial contact due to their growth. As a result, the quality has suffered somewhat. I don't like finding web designer errors or oversights after I have paid for the job.* I have often fixed the errors myself, which is irritating. However, I still highly recommend them because the management is outstanding.

We have been working with Counterintuity for about a year now to help us with marketing campaigns, graphic designs, and a new website. They are a fantastic team and extremely responsive to our needs! Working with Lee and his staff is a delight and we can't recommend them highly enough for anything from basic design work to overall strategies.

What, no Yelp reviews yet? Big to small to solo artist, Lee and Amy and their team can handle your marketing, social media, website or even strategizing the future. Plus, they are a great (and award-winning) example of a small business and community partner, themselves--they treat their employees well, and support so much here in Burbank.
