My name is Galen McGee and I am the owner of Two Ring Studios located in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina. I have been fortunate to call several places home during my lifetime, including New Orleans, Saint Augustine, California (where I traveled around the state), and for a brief time, Australia.

Galen is a VERY talented photographer with great demeanor and knows how to make you look great. Very easy going and was the best vendor for our wedding. He made all of the pictures very stress free. I highly recommend Galen for any photo shoot. He did our engagement and wedding photos.

To say we love our photos from Two Ring Studios is an understatement. We were blown away and so very, very happy. My new husband and I are both in TV news, so we are visual people. We wanted to find a photographer who captured not only our family and friends, but the venue and the atmosphere of the night as well. We were married at Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. I've seen hundreds of photographs over the years of the estate, but Galen managed to find new angles, and not only made the whole place seem brand new again, but also unique to us, to our night. Galen at Two Ring Studio was very professional and knowledgeable about photography. I am very observant and notice those things. He was dressed very nicely for our big day, which I really appreciated. It was extremely hot and I am sure he was miserable in his long sleeves button up, but he never expressed any discontent. He was just focused on getting good shots. The pictures we received were awesome and unique! One thing my husband and I really liked about Galen was his confidence! He wasn't over the top, he was just confident in his work and gave wonderful direction. Thank you for being a part

Galen exceeded our expectations for our wedding photos! I am not a fan of being in pictures, and Galen put me right at ease. My husband and I felt comfortable being ourselves with him, not to mention that he is very much a professional. This is the photographer that will give you us much or as little direction as you would like. We highly recommend him!

We used Galen for our wedding at Yesterday Spaces right outside of Asheville, NC back on May 21 with our wedding planner Two Sweet Sparrows. We also did our engagement photos with him at the Biltmore Estate. Although it has taken me several months to get around to writing reviews I have to say that I am so pleased with the quality of the photos, the uniqueness of the photos, how he captured everything about the event and of course how beautiful he made me look! Two Ring Studios is absolutely AMAZING! Galen, is a wonderful photographer who made my husband and I feel at ease for all the photographs--which is not easy as we are not too comfy in front of the camera! Our photos turned out to be beautiful! I can say without a doubt that they are the best photos of my husband and I ever. He did both our engagement and wedding photos, and we loved both collections so much that I am having a hard time picking our favorites. We set out searching for a wedding photographer who could capture our day as naturally as possible. Galen accomplished this goal marvelously. He has a great eye and does beautiful job of composing photographs. As an artist myself, I was impressed with his use of natural light and selecting locations that really showed off our outdoor venue.
