Quaint diner off the fast track. Friendly staff, nicely decorated for the holidays. Small menu but covers a lot of items. Nothing we ate stood out as above average but it was a fair amount of food at a decent price. You can enter the restaurant from the front or back. Plenty of lot parking on both sides. Handicap accessible to restaurant and bathrooms.

Was fairly disappointed today. We used to come here often and while not the best in town the food was usually good and portions were generous. The new condensed menu is very uninspiring and the prices are higher than they should be. The service was okay I guess. A little on the slower side considering there were 4 wait staff working. But the waitress was patient with my elderly friend. My food when it came was overcooked but edible so I ate it rather than send it back because I didn't want to wait 30m for them to redo it. Which it shouldn't have. The restaurant was a little busy but not enough

Pop's is a small town hidden gem that everyone needs to visit! My boyfriend and I stopped by here for breakfast while we were passing by this town and it exceeded both of our expectations. The food was cheap and portions were huge. The workers here are super friendly and welcoming as well, which makes the experience even better

Have ate here a couple of times, which is too much. Ordered breakfast first time with an English muffin and when food came there was Texas toast. Asked waitress where's English muffin, she replies oh we don't have English muffins. Why would you not tell me that? Another time had a sandwich, it came on Texas bread also that was so dry it just crumbled. Apparently they do not have white fresh bread. Ate there today and ordered a ham and cheese hoagie, the bun was also so dry it just fell apart , had to eat it with a fork. I would suggest to at least try and serve fresher bread or

Unassuming locally owned Diner tucked away in a strip mall. Don't blink, you might miss it. And it would be a shame if you did. Inside is cozy and welcoming with a family feel. The staff is nice, friendly, and attentive. The food was great. Bacon was crispy but not burnt. The french toast was very well done and tasty. The biscuits were crispy and fluffy, and the gravy was flavorful with a good amount if sausage. Prices are median. Cost us $17 for breakfast for two. Nice neighborhood restaurant worth a stop.

I'm always looking for breakfast places I've never tried, so I suggested we check out Pop's one Saturday morning. My boyfriend and I arrived around 10 and there were still open tables available. This is a down-home, family restaurant with no frills. I ordered a basic breakfast with eggs, bacon, toast, and American fries -- my baseline order for any breakfast restaurant. My boyfriend got a single biscuit with gravy and added one egg and a side of American fries.
Our food came out pretty quickly but unfortunately it wasn't all hot. The American fries weren't even warm,

I want to start this review off by saying thank you to Pop's and all of the folks who have kept this hidden gem thriving over the years. As a huge breakfast guy, I have had my share of specials and I can say hands down, this is it boys. Never have I smashed something so beautifully crafted, and felt so gratified in doing so. I had about 5 coffees with the Steak Skillet Special for 10.95, all the fix-ins, and Cinnamon Raisin Bread. The menu is cost friendly, the atmosphere brings a soft smile, and the waitresses have kind hearts. Sorry Wolfgang's, bye bye Peppermill, and see ya never Murphy

I loved the little setting and the place but there was alot going on that shouldn't have been. There were wet towels laying on the floor to catch water coming from behind the chairs.(hopefully a leak that is took care of fast .😉) our table had food in the cracks.( Easy miss from a wipe down.) The waiters were wearing flip flops.🤦♀️ But one thing that got me was our water container. It was just yucky. There was sticky stuff On the inside sand and out. I couldn't just rub it oid I had to scrap it off..... On another note, The food was cooked great, it was done fast for there being 4

The place was cozy, like a small town gathering place. My wife got the Reuben and I got the double pops burger. Both were very good. We also had the fried mushrooms, also very good. Wait staff was very friendly and courteous. I will visit here again.
On another trip I decided to get the meat and bean wet burrito. Stuffed to the max, drenched in cheese and sauce. The chips were a tad bit stale, but were still tasty when dipped in the sauce. I'm glad I seen another review saying it was good. They weren't wrong. Wife got the Reuben again and she liked it again.

Pop's restaurant is a great place to eat and not spend a lot of money. The staff are all so friendly, everyone helping everyone out (even if it not their table). They have fish all you can eat every Friday and their burritos are excellent. If you like home cooked meals and not spend a lot, check them out!!

I ordered the Big Jumbo Breakfast, 2 eggs, meat, potatoes and toast.
I ordered a 3rd egg (For an extra cost), OverMed, ham, shredded hash browns and Texas toast, well-toasted.
I received 2 eggs, BARELY Over easy, whites slimy, COLD hash browns, soggy warm bread.
Asked to have Hash browns reheated, they stuck them in a microwave, and sent them back to me. Still cold!
I am a huge fan of eating breakfast out.
The ham was very nicely heated and delicious.
The waitress was very personable and they were very good at filling your coffee cup.

This is exactly what I wanted it to be - a cheap place with food that comes out fast and tastes great. Not a gourmet place where you'll get to try anything new or crazy but they know what they're doing here when it comes to American classics and it shows. Friendly people in a hole in the wall type of place. Doesn't get better!

Pop's has pretty great food, especially considering the super-cheap prices. I'm partial to their onion rings, but almost everything I've had here I've enjoyed. They also have enough vegetarian fare to keep me happy (including veggie burgers... a rare commodity in Grand Rapids). The service can vary depending on who you get, but is generally solid. It's a great place to just chill out for a while and munch on appetizers with friends.
