At Derby City Pediatric Dentistry, our purpose, as a dental team, is to work with dedicated and tireless effort to obtain and maintain the highest level of professional knowledge, clinical excellence, and professionalism. We are committed to providing compassionate dental care to all patients in a child-centered environment.
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) recommends that you visit a pediatric dentist no later than your child's first birthday - and preferably within six months of their first tooth appearing. At Derby City Pediatric Dentistry, we make this first visit a fun, easy, stress-free experience.
Teeth vary in size, shape and their location in the jaws. These differences enable teeth to work together to help you chew, speak and smile. They also help give your face its shape and form. At birth, people usually have 20 baby (primary) teeth, which start to come in (erupt) at about 6 months of age.
At Derby City Pediatric Dentistry, we know that children with autism, special needs, developmental disabilities, physical limitations or behavioral issues may need extra time and special attention from their pediatric dentist. Dr. Korie and her staff are AMAZING! My son had an accident while away at college. I called our dentist in our home state of Delaware and by the grace of God, she knew Dr. Korie! Within 10 minutes, Dr. Korie's office was calling ME to ask if my son could come in right away. It was nearing the end of the day and they saw him anyway! I was frantic and they took care of everything! They called me with the diagnosis and treatment plan, and then fixed his chipped tooth! It looks amazing and you would never know it was repaired unless my son told you! I can't thank Dr. Korie and her staff enough for

Dr. Korie and her staff are amazing, kind, patient, and so good with my kids. The hygienists are professional, kind, and take time to explain what they are doing to my children that they are able to understand. They also took the time to listen to my child’s 500 questions and appropriately dealt with a scared toddler.
Dr. Korie takes time to explain everything to me about my children’s teeth health. We have had nothing but positive experiences here.
I also want to mention that the facility is new, clean, pretty, and fun for kids. I wish my dentist’s office was this nice.

The absolute best in pediatric dentistry! Dr. Korie and her team care about each child that comes in and makes the dentist fun! While we've been lucky and only needed basic cleanings I feel confident that if/when we needed something more my children would be treated well. Thank you all for being so amazing!
