I absolutely love everyone at Shine Dental. The staff are super caring and understanding. Before I went to see Dr. J, I was absolutely terrified of going to the dentist. I was so scared I would shake in the chair. He and his staff are very gentle and try to make your experience at the dentist as pain and anxiety free as possible. Because of Shine Dental I am better able to take care of my teeth and am no longer afraid of going in.
If you have a horrible fear of the dentist, I highly recommend these guys!

*Editing to say that I have now had another dental emergency, and once again they fit me in within the hour! Unheard of. And so kind. Thank you Shine!
I was a patient at another clinic in town. I needed a root canal badly, but they couldn’t schedule me for three weeks. Shine worked incredibly hard to get me in the morning I called, and did the work way less invasively and at a third of the price. They made me feel cared for and I even enjoyed the time spent there, which I never thought I’d say about a dental visit. I am so grateful to them!

Dr.Justsen and his assistant Namoi preformed a root canal on me today and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had at a dentist office. They had great communication with me and made me feel very comfortable. It was about a 2 hour process and they provided headphones and water. You could also get a blanket or hot towel if you wanted. I actually feel asleep during the whole thing because I was so relaxed. Highly recommend for anyone, as the team made it feel very welcoming.

Trustworthy and competent dentist and staff, I highly recommend them! I am always nervous at the dentist since a bad experience 20 years ago, but this place puts me at ease. I received a crown today and really enjoyed sitting in the massage chair while the crown was created. It is so nice to not have a temporary crown and a second visit. The equipment is state of the art and I appreciate Dr. Justesen’s care and expertise.

Dr. J is an amazing dentist. He and his staff took such great care of me on an emergency bases by working me in to their already busy schedule. I required more dental work then I had planned on having to receive. Dr. J explained my options and made me feel very comfortable with my decisions. I was very nervous which required some additional time to calm my nerves before proceeding. This was easily accomplished by his staff as they provided a lot of options to assist in making me more comfortable and calmer, i.e., weighted blanket, noise cancelling headphones and music. This was quite possibly the most pleasant dentist visit I’ve ever had. I hadn’t been to the dentist in 2 years, so I needed a pretty in-depth cleaning. Ashley (I think that was her name. Sorry if I’m wrong!) was amazing at making me feel comfortable the entire time. She also made a point to actually explain to me what and why she was doing everything. As someone who loves to be in control, this made me super happy! The exam was also quick and painless. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and I feel weird saying this, but this dentist trip made my day (I don’t get much human interaction

Hello - I have been working with Shine Dental for the last 4 months or so. My experience with everyone there has been excellent! From the time you arrive, you are greeted and recognized by the receptionist, that has sent you the proper forms to complete via your email address. Don’t have to rush and complete them the 3 to 5 minutes you wait to be called back. The dental nurse was very nice, I felt like I was being pampered!!! When I met Dr. Justesen I could tell he is a nice man!!! He was extremely easy to visit with and as I had some bad and embarrassing teeth, I was made comfortable by both

Everyone here takes great care of you! They are so quick to make you feel comfortable and are constantly checking in to see how you’re doing. This goes from the initial consultation call to sitting down in the office chair to explain any procedures you may need some. Their membership plan is awesome for those without dental insurance. I’m truly glad I found them to boost my dental health. Shine Dental is by far the best experience I’ve had with any dental office!

These guys are the best!! I had put off going to the dentist for years. Shine was able to rewrite the script for me and make me actually enjoy my dental visits! Kylie and Ashley both do an amazing job with cleanings and offering recommendations... they make it a fun experience and very little pain (especially after they convinced me to start caring for my own teeth well!). Dr. J always does a great job of explaining options and does phenomenal touch up/repair work. All around a great crew and am so happy I found them! Thanks to the team!!

Can you give 10 stars? Because they deserve it! Dr. Justesen is an artist. I'm freaked out about getting shots in my mouth (if we're being real here, who isn't). But I didn't feel anything during either of my visits! Literally NOTHING. And, if it wasn't weird to post photos of dental work online, I would post a photo of today's visit. Seriously...this man is gifted! You won't be disappointed/sad/scared/in pain/fill-in-your-dental-fear-here , I promise!!!
