Body Language Massage and Wellness was originally founded in 1999 by Teri Schiavi LMT, in Phoenix, Arizona. It is now centrally located in the historic German Village neighborhood of downtown Columbus Ohio. Since its inception, it has been focused on holistic massage, bodywork and spa treatments. Our location is at the corner of Whittier and Macon, just east of the Brown Bag Deli.
We offer a three-pronged approach including our custom integrated massage for body, holistic wellness coaching and meditation for mind, and Reiki for spirit. Combined, these work to unify the body-mind, and to encourage growth and healing so you can live your optimal life. If we pay attention, it will always tell us what it wants, and I respect that.

Services
Swedish massage is a vigorous system of treatment designed to energize the body by stimulating circulation. Five basic movements, all flowing toward the heart, are used to manipulate the soft tissues of the body. Benefits may include generalized relaxation, dissolution of scar tissue adhesions, and improved circulation, which may speed healing and reduce swelling from injury.

Woke up with some severe discomfort today and looked for a place to get an appointment. There was a cancellation so I was able to book easily and am thankful I did. Teri was very kind and professional. She made me feel really comfortable and am excited to visit again.

I tried calling the office 3 times to reschedule my appointment, no answer and voicemail box is full. So this is me canceling my appointment and I will not reschedule.

Teri was nothing short of amazing. I’m literally scheduling my next appointment in my car. The ambiance was great. She was so pleasant and has such a good spirit. The work was amazing. She even put hot towels on my feet at the finish. I can’t wait to go back. She really cares about what she does and it definitely shows. I left feeling GREAT. Thanks!

I loved my experience with Teri Schiavi at Body Language. Her studio is located in a salon loft style location and is incredibly relaxing, clean and easy to find. It was my first "real" massage and Teri put me at ease and made me feel comfortable and confident. She is friendly, professional and dedicated to customizing the experience to your needs. Her prices are very competitive with specials running frequently. I plan to make an appointment with her again and would recommend to a friend.
