My drive in life is helping people feel whole again. I was drawn to alternative medicine at an early age, having a chiropractor in the family. I completed my undergraduate degree earning a Bachelor of Science in Cellular Biology at The University of Kansas. During senior year I was involved in research which I continued at The University of Kansas Medical Center.
As different traumas twist our bodies, they cannot perform as well as they once did. If these traumas are never taken care of the body will continue to compensate until it can no longer do so, causing more and more pain and less function. Dr. Stephens adjusts the body from head to toe correcting the misalignment your body cannot fix by itself.
What is structural chiropractic care? Structural care encompasses many things. As chiropractors we are focused on treating joint misalignments in the body we call subluxations. These subluxations affect the joint mechanics, nervous system function, and the muscular system function. Subluxations twist the body up, compromising organ function, and causing scar tissue and arthritic changes in the joints.
Treatments are by appointment only. Payment Options: You may pay with cash, check, debit/credit cards, or health savings accounts. Payment is required at time of service. VPPH is not in-network with any insurance companies. Patients can submit a super bill to their insurance company for possible reimbursement.

I knew this was going to be a different chiropractic experience the moment I walked into their doors. Drs Josh and Cole are extremely attentive, kind, professional, and knowledgeable. This is not a "crack your back in 15 minutes" kind of practice, where the chiropractor superficially fixes you and then expects to see you back each week for the rest of your life. Dr. Josh and Dr. Cole are fantastic. Their unique approach is so much better that traditional chiropractic care. I had been dealing with issues from a couple of old injuries. Over the years I found some relief from chiropractors, but it was always temporary. The unique approach they take has me feeling more stable and flexible that I was in high school (a long time ago)! It takes many visits to get there, and there was some discomfort as I went through some "unwinding," but it's absolutely worth it.
One other note; they don't accept insurance, but their pricing is reasonable, so I barely pay more

Dr. Cole and Dr. Josh have absolutely changed my life and the lives of my family members.
